Out of these, Lyra Heartstrings. Even though Derpy spoke I think she still counts as a background character. Plus Bon Bon had speaking parts too.

It's between Derpy Hooves and DJ Pon3. I picked Derpy Hooves since she's cute, funny, and I just love that she's been put in the show so much.
DJ Pon3 is probably the coolest pony ever second to Rainbow Dash. I wish she would appear more.

But I love them all! From what we've seen of them, each is an interesting pony in her own right--they're all some combination of pretty, cute, funny, and/or way awesome. :3 It would be nice to see any and all of them make more and bigger appearances.

I love Derpy, and I think it's FAB that she got a line, but Vinyl is full of epicness.

Third favourite would probably be Dr Whooves, then Octavia, then Lyra/Heartstrings.

Vinyl and Octavia really do need to become canon the way the fandom imagines them to be, just like Derpy...=} They ARE filled with so much win.

I'm hoping Blossom will eventually get more fans like some of the other background ponies. She was so funny in Hurricane Fluttershy.
