I remember visiting this website once...
It was called Robert Redford to Retire From Acting After Next Two Films to 'Focus on Directing'
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
Robert Redford’s days in front of the camera are coming to an end.
The screen icon, 80, revealed that he plans to retire from acting after his next two films during a new interview with his grandson, Dylan Redford.
Our Souls at Night, with Jane Fonda, a love story for older people who get a second chance in life, and Old Man with a Gun, a lighter piece with Casey Affleck and Sissy Spacek,” he said.
“Once they’re done then I’m going to say, ‘Okay, that’s goodbye to all that,’ and then just focus on directing,” he added.
Redford started acting in the early ’60s and rose to fame with classic films like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Sting, and All the President’s Men. He’s also directed a number of popular films, and took home the Oscar for Best Director for 1980’s Ordinary People.
Most recently, Redford acted in this year’s Pete’s Dragon. His last directorial project was 2012’s The Company You Keep starring Shia LaBeouf.
