The Last Airbender is a 2010 action film that was based on a beloved show of the same name. The film got really bad reviews, but I actually really liked the film.

I only saw clips of the animated show before watching the live action film so I'm judging this film by itself instead of comparing it to the show. I still haven't watched any full episodes, but I did enough research to understand the plot and characters.

The film focuses on Aang who's the avatar. He's discovered by a duo of siblings, Katara and Sokka, who become his friends. It's up to them to save the world from the evil Fire Nation....

It’s 1977 and four college friends who parted ways years ago have reunited for what’s supposed to be a raucous bachelor party. Instead, time has brought a few changes and they find themselves on a treasure hunt down Kentucky’s bluegrass bourbon trail. The story starts simple and slowly unfolds into a twisted maze of greed, guilt and murder.

This is “Bullitt County” -- the new indie film currently in limited theaters by AMC Independent and set to launch on VOD/DVD in early 2019.

Keeping up with the men, the only female amongst the once tight-knit group is the wiseass Robin -- played...

Disney adaptations of classic stories are hardly faithful, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. But it is troubling when the company defines a story so much to the point that we forget the true spirit of it. In particular, The Jungle Book by Ruyard Kipling is such a case.

Disney's 1967 animated classic is mostly remembered fondly, and I myself own it on Platinum Edition. While it is a shame that it couldn't be closer to the original story due to Disney himself finding it too dark for children, it's still a lighthearted, pleasant adventure with fun songs. In 2016, Disney released a live action...

There are a lot of good actors that have gotten the attention, respect, and awards that they deserve, but there are some great actors that aren't the household names they should be. These are the top 10 most underrated actors in the world. This list is for both live action and voice actors.

10. John DiMaggio

Most people don't know who John DiMaggio is even though he's pretty much been in every popular animated show from recent years. His best roles include Aquaman in Batman: The Brave and the Bold and the Joker in Batman: Under the Red Hood. His most well known roles are Bender in Futurama...

Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice is a 2016 DC film that stars DC's 2 most popular super heroes: Batman and Superman. Several critics thought that the film is bad. This review is about why I think that the film is really good. Of course you don't have to like the film if you don't want to. However I think that the film is really underrated.

The Film's Plot

Batman and Superman may both be super heroes, but they sure don't get along. Superman has his doubts about Batman while Batman hates Superman and plans to get rid of him. The rivalry is increased by Lex Luthor who wants Batman to get rid...

Dudley Do-Right is a 1999 comedy film that's based on a segment from The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show.

Plot

Dudley Do-Right's rival, Snidely K. Whiplash, becomes in charge of Semi Happy Valley. Dudley tries to save his city and impress Nell Fenwick. However Dudley gets fired so he gets mentored by a prospector named Kim J. Darling.

Dudley Do-Right got mocked for not being that entertaining, but I disagree with that. This film is tons of fun with several clever and hilarious scenes. The plot is interesting from beginning to end. This film succeeds at having a interesting plot and having great comedy....

Am I excited about the 2017 My Little Pony film? Well I'm nervouscited for the upcoming My Little Pony film.

A major problem I have with the upcoming film is that it's not a Equestria Girls film. Because of that I'm worried that Twilight sparkle's friends will be protagonists. I think that Twilight's friends are weak protagonists, but decent supporting characters. I'm worried about Sunset Shimmer not being in the film. How can you have a good My Little Pony film without Sunset? I'm hoping that Celestia, Luna, the cutie mark crusaders, and Starlight Glimmer don't appear in the film. I hope that...

Movie reviews generally aren't my thing, and I don't spend a lot of time reading them let alone writing them, but Snowpiercer was one of the best movies I've seen in years. Here's the synopsis:

In this sci-fi epic from director Bong Joon Ho, a failed global-warming experiment kills off most life on the planet. The final survivors board the SNOWPIERCER, a train that travels around the globe via a perpetual-motion engine. When cryptic messages incite the passengers to revolt, the train thrusts full-throttle towards disaster.(TWC-Radius)

It sounds like a run-of-the-mill dystopian thriller. It sounds...

Actor Michael Cotter is asking lots of questions in Paul Thomas Anderson’s new film “Inherent Vice."

Michael teams up with Reese Witherspoon to interrogate detective Larry "Doc" Sportello, played by Joaquin Phoenix. Set in Los Angeles in the 1970’s, the film follows the drug-tripping detective as he investigates a disappearance.

Fans will remember Michael for his role opposite Brandon Routh and Sam Huntington in the cult indie-hit “DYLAN DOG: Dead of Night.” He’s also appeared on several television shows including recurring roles on “Scrubs”, “Help Me Help You” and “Shark.”...

Was 'On Stranger Tides' The First & Only High Seas Adventure For Angelica?
Walt Disney Pictures decided to swap Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales – the fifth installment in the theme park ride-based movie franchise headlined by Johnny Depp as the slippery scallywag Jack Sparrow – out from the Summer 2015 lineup this week (right after the studio repositioned Marvel’s Ant-Man to takes its place), rather than rush the swashbuckling blockbuster down the assembly line as fast as conceivably possible.

The Dead Men Tell No Tales script is still being written by Jeff Nathanson (Rush Hour 2 & 3), who took over from Pirates 1-4 co-writers Ted Elliott...

Bought this film on a whim. Have to say that I'm glad I did.

The story centres around James Nesbitt's character Peter, who lives alone on a remote Scottish island running a lighthouse. Through flashbacks we see his previous life as a family man with a successful career and how he came to be alone. Simply, it's a tale of 'you don't know what you've got until it's gone'.

Nesbitt lives alone, not speaking for most of the film. With a lesser actor this would have likely become tedious but Nesbitt carries the performance well.

However, it's the arrival of a young ship-wrecked girl named Charlotte that...

#1 Just Like Heaven

Ok this was on TV last night and parts of it was funny like the part where Elizabeth is telling David to get out of her apartment and his like No and she falls out the window or the priest coming in with the holy water and she tells David that the priest doesn’t see her either only David does.

Ok so a lot of endings to movies can be sometimes crap and leaves you saying what the hell is going on here . Here is my top 10 favourite endings.

#10 Cinderella
1950

Ok so we all know that Cinderella gets her prince in the end and that’s it. End of story

#9 Titanic(1997)

This one always confuses me. Does Rose die in her bed as an old woman or does she dream about Jack in her sleep. You decide.

#8 Beauty& the Beast(1991)

OMG I love the ending to this movie as Belle who is gutted over Beast being dead turns back into a sexy prince who she marries in the end and they dance together and you see...

I just saw INCEPTION and here is my review on it:

Inception, the highly anticipated sci-fi epic from Christopher Nolan, finally arrives. I’ve been waiting for this movie for a quite a long time now (maybe two years). And I am gonna throw some statements out there that might seem outlandish or ridiculous, but trust me, after you see this movie, you will definitely be on my side.
Let’s get these statements out there shall we..... Inception is not only Chris Nolan’s masterpiece; it is one of the best movies I have EVER seen. I honestly mean that and I do not say this very often. And also,...

I mean ALL of them ALL together. I have a very unique list because I have some really underrated movies on my list that a lot of people hate. I'm going to explain why I love the movie so much because all of these movies have had a great impact on my life, even one that's very new. Everytime I watch these movies they make me smile. Most people find themselves struggling against their inner demons at some point in their life. It’s the degree and depth of that fight that differs from one person to the next.

Filmmaker Angela Matemotja weaves together a story of individuals fighting to step out from behind their darkest fears in the dramatic feature film “Elevate.”

The premise follows an overweight elevator switchboard operator (Matemotja) struggling to achieve even one day of healthy eating. Her conflict is worsened by an abusive boss, trapped elevator occupants, and her fitness guru as they all find themselves caught...

Love can be blissful. But, it can also be complicated. In fact, it’s these complications that have made for some of the most interesting storylines in the movies. They’ve even coined their own genre – the romantic-comedy or rom-com.

The new indie feature film, “Toss It,” is taking things a step further by showcasing a seriously entangled love dilemma in a way that delivers it as an ‘anti-romantic comedy’ way. The film and its stars are quickly emerging fan-favs on the festival circuit, including rising actress Jenny Zerke. She steps into the story as Marie, a crazy best friend...

Happy Pride Month!

Figured this would be a good time to finally put together a list of my top 5 LGBT movies. It's not an incredibly balanced list - leans pretty heavily towards the L. I'm hoping to expand this once I finally get my shit together and get to the tons of other LGBT movies that have been on my watch list forever.
