When tragedy strikes, how a family deals with the ordeal can make or break them forever.

The new indie film “Bring Me An Avocado” from writer/director Maria Mealla, explores how a family and close friends deal with a mugging gone wrong that leaves a young mother in a coma.

It recently premiered at Cinequest, tying for the ‘Audience Award’ and earning praise for the performances. One of the stand-outs in the film is actress Molly Ratermann, who brought authenticity as the grieving but well intentioned sister who steps in to give the children a sense of normalcy.

Molly has been rising up...

Everyone has a bad day once in a while, right? Now, imagine having your worst day ever.

That’s the basic premise of the new action-comedy feature film “Monday,” starring actor Jamie H. Jung as a slacker whose day goes from bad to worse to holy sh*t.

After losing both his job and his girlfriend, Jim (Jung) thinks that he’s hit rock bottom but quickly realizes that his problems are only beginning. With the help of his best friend, Jim must fend off rivaling drug cartels and assassins as he tries to get his life back on track and stay alive in the process.

“Monday” will close out the...

Batman Ninja is a 2018 Batman film. My review of the film is about the film's English dub.

The film is about Batman getting sent to Japan's past. He teams up with Catwoman and his regular helpers to stop the Joker. The Joker is being aided by Gorilla Grodd, Harley Quinn, Two-Face, the Penguin, Poison Ivy, and Deathstroke. Batman realizes that the people of Japan's past consider Batman to be a prophecy hero so Batman tries to live up to the hype.

The film's plot is pretty interesting and unique. Although having a film that's about Batman and Joker's rivalry is very typical nearly every other...

Suicide Squad is a DC film that was directed by David Ayer. The film has lots of fans, but the film was highly disliked by critics. I personally think that the film is great. This article is about discussing various things that the film did a great job at.

The first thing about the film that's worth noting is that it's such a unique film. A lot of films are about very morally responsible heroes or flawed people who eventually become great people. Although films like that can be heartwarming and inspiring I feel that there should be films that are entertainment instead of lessons. Suicide Squad...

If you like a well-crafted bio-pic, then you’re going to love the film "Marshall." It’s based on an early trial in the career of Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall that later served as a template for his creation of the NAACP legal defense fund.

The film stars Chadwick Boseman in the title role, as he heads to Connecticut to defend a black chauffeur charged with sexual assault and attempted murder of his white employer.

Joining the all-star cast is rising actor Mark St. Cyr. Originally from Louisiana, this now New York based actor has also appeared in Lifetime’s "I Love You…But...

Suicide Squad is a 2016 DC film. The film has popular DC characters including Batman, Joker, Harley Quinn.

The Plot

Amanda Waller is interested in having a group of criminals help fight crime. The team includes Deadshot, Harley Quinn, El Diablo, Captain Boomerang, and Killer Croc. Rick Flag, a hero, is in charge of keeping the group of criminals under control. Their enemy is the Enchantress, a dangerous woman who is very powerful.

Suicide Squad is a interesting film. It is rare to have a film that stars villains. Even films that claim to star a villain like Despicable Me turn the villain into...

Masterminds is a 2016 comedy film. The film stars Zach Galifianakis, Kristen Wiig, and Owen Wilson. The film got mostly bad reviews which is normal for comedy films. The film is a adaption of real life events. I'm not joking.

The Plot:

David Ghantt (Zach Galifianakis) is a Loomis Fargo worker. Despite being engaged he has a crush on of his co-workers (Kristen Wiig). His crush has a greedy friend (Owen Wilson) who wants to rob Loomis Fargo. David robs Loomis Fargo and tries to get his crush to date him and avoid getting arrested.

The plot of this film is actually good. The plot is unique enough...

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Out of the Shadows is a 2016 action film. It's the sequel to the 2014 Turtles film. I was eager to watch this film, because it's the first turtles film to have Krang, but is this film good?

The Plot:

It's up to the 4 turtles along with April and Casey to stop Krang from taking over the world. Well there's more going on than that. Some of the side plots include: the turtles not getting along with each other and Casey trying to prove he can be a quality detective. Plus there's Krang's helpers.

The Krang storyline is cool despite the film focusing too much on Krang's...

Some films have memorable quotes that I always look forward to listening to. The following list honors the five film quotes that I love the most.

5. "Survival of the Fittest Leonard!" - Foodfight!

Said by: Mr. Clipboard

Although Foodfight! isn't a very good film I love Mr. Clipboard. He was delightfully eccentric. I love this quote, because of how amazingly odd Christopher Lloyd said it.

4. "You're mad, bonkers, but all the best people are." - the 2010 Alice in Wonderland film

Said by: Alice's dad, Alice

This quote is pretty much perfect for Alice in Wonderland. I love how it starts off seeming...

I don't make a habit of calling any guy a "gentleman". Mainly because there are so FEW gentlemen in the world these days. But out of all the men alive today there is probably nobody who comes closer to being a gentleman than G.W. Bailey. You may remember him as Captain Thaddeus Harris from the 'Police Academy' movies. But for me, my first impression of him was his role in the 1999 Biblical film 'Jesus'. I've thought fondly of him ever since I saw him in that movie. Sure he was slimy, greasy, unrepentant son of a bitch. And yet...there was something appealing about the guy. Something amusing....

We enjoyed many great movies in 2013. Among all the movies Iron Man 3 earned highest revenues of $409 million accompanied by Despicable Me 2, with turnover of $365 million. On third spot is Man of Steel with earnings around $291 million. Monsters University is ranked fourth with earnings of $268 million.
On fifth spot is Fast & Furious 6 followed by Oz the Great and Powerful on sixth spot. On seventh spot is Gravity, a very innovative movie. I must say the biggest thriller of the year.Ranked 8th in this list is Star Trek Into Darkness and on number 9th and 10th spot are World War Z and The Croods.
We're the Millers shared the eleventh position.

This is important to horror fans and collectors alike because as Child's Play series fans we are extremely limited in choice as far as accurate replicas go and are forced to pay ridiculous amounts of money for one replica usually of foreign origin because every single worth while piece created for this film is of limited release and considered extremely rare. It's not right for fans of the series to have to pay 2,000 average for a replica and one from 5 years ago at that. We want a "to scale" accurate replica of Chucky from the original Child's Play films in his unstitched form.

I have seen lots of movies but this one is AWESOME!!!! This is about a girl named Alice who stumbles into the magical world of wonderland for the second time. She soon realizes that shes not in a dream that shes been having since she was a little girl & Wonderland needs her.
This movie is the perfect mixture of real and fantasy. In the begining she is a normal girl with a normal life. But then all changes when she falls down the rabbit hole. She has to face all sorts of creatures like the jabberwocky(?) and the red queen. But friends come along the way. Like the mad hatter and the white queen.
My favorite character is the mad hatter. I believe Johnny Depp was genius in this movie. He played his character so perfectly. He fit this role really well.
This movie was really good and i encourage you all to see it.

Dixie
Dixie
SEQUELS.
The first movie, Disney movies particularly, are about a couple, next thing you know, the sequel is about their kids. Don't get me wrong, sometimes I like it, but I don't like how they take the personality of a character. A few characters might NOT want this happening to them. It might ruin Dixie's career (From Fox and the hound 2), and DESTROY Rita's personality.(From Oliver and Company) In All dogs go to heaven 2 Sasha sings about her not wanting to be in love, but WHY? Probably because she doesn't want her personality taken from her.

Winning is not always as important as the path you take and friendships you make along the way.

This is the underlying message in the new heartwarming family-friendly film “Troop Zero,” starring Allison Janney, Viola Davis, Jim Gaffigan and young actress Mckenna Grace.

Directed by Bert & Bertie and currently streaming on Amazon Prime, the story set in 1977 rural Georgia, follows a misfit girl obsessed with outer space. Believing her dead mother lives on in the skies beyond, she jumps at the chance to compete to be recorded on NASA’s Golden Record and send her message to the outer limits....

Enter rising Hong Kong female filmmaker Wis Petter, who has been successfully jumping back and forth since landing in Hollywood. For her, they’re both about telling a strong story.

Currently, the writer/producer/director is prepping her latest narrative short film THE DONOR, set in the underground world of the organ black market. She recently premiered the docu-short...
