Batman: Hush is a 2019 Batman animated film. It's based on a popular graphic novel from the early 2000s.

Plot

Several of Gotham's supervillains are working together, due to being under the influence of the city's newest enemy: Hush. Batman and a reformed Catwoman team up to stop the various villains, as well as a hypnotized Superman. However, a romance starts blossoming between Batman and Catwoman, which makes Batman question if he should let Catwoman know who he really is.

Batman: Hush has an emotional romance storyline, between Batman and Catwoman. It also has a cleverly-written, exciting storyline about Batman trying to stop Hush and find out who Hush is. This film has gotten some negative reception, for giving Hush a different identity, than the identity he had in the graphic novel. However, I think the new identity given to Hush was brilliant and it shows the creativity of the writing team.

Cast

In this film, Batman is voiced by Jason O'Mara, who has voiced Batman in several other animated jobs. He does a fantastic job, at bringing Batman's voice to life. All the other voice actors are well cast.

As a character, Batman is very compelling in the film. He goes through an emotional arc and although he acts a bit darker at times, he's a sentimental and noble hero throughout the film. He and Catwoman have a passionate bond in the film.

Hush is an intimidating, cool, and fun villain. He adds lots of mystery and excitement to the film. Also, the person, that he turns out to be, is a great character. Hush serves as the main villain, but several other antagonists show up, including Poison Ivy, Bane, Harley Quinn, the Joker, the Riddler, the Scarecrow, and Clayface. Also, a few Superman characters appear in the film, including Clark Kent, Lois Lane, and Lex Luthor.

Animation

The animation is colorful and is a treat to look at. The action scenes look great and the character designs are wonderfully done. Both the heroes and villains are very cool looking and have creative, unique designs.

Overall

Batman: Hush is a emotionally impactful and exciting mystery film, that's worth checking out.

It was a hometown welcome for Hollywood-based actress Tammy Kaitz who went back to Denver to shoot the new comedy feature film, “Man Camp.”

Tammy was lured back to Colorado by the role of Theresa, a smart and sassy mother of three grown children who catch their mom off-guard at their family cabin with her secret fiancé, portrayed by Pete Gardner of “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” fame. Her sons decide to put their mom’s new beau to the test to see if he’s good enough to join their Mann family.

Directed by Nate Bakke, the film also stars Erik Stocklin along with Daniel Cummings and Scott Kruse,...
