Okay so I decided that I would make a list of my top 10 favorite movies of ALL TIME. This includes all movies all together not just tradtionally animated, computer animated, or live-action. I mean ALL of them ALL together. I have a very unique list because I have some really underrated movies on my list that a lot of people hate. I'm going to explain why I love the movie so much because all of these movies have had a great impact on my life, even one that's very new. Everytime I watch these movies they make me smile. Now please don't hate and keep in mind this is just my opinion, if you don't like it than go make your own list. I never just complain with a comment, I make my points big and effective. Please leave a comment on what you think of my article and list, enjoy!

10.Beauty and The Beast 2: Enchanted Christmas

Yep, this is a bad way to start an article off; with an underrated film. However I don't care, I LOVE this movie and it's actually my favorite christmas movie EVER! I have so many found memories when I watched this as a kid. It's a tradition for me to watch this movie every christmas. I love all the songs in this movie, especially As Long As There's Christmas and Stories, I sing those two songs whenever I'm putting up the christmas tree and rapping presents. I think that all the characters in the movie actually stay the same, except Belle, however I think she actually improves in the sequel. My problem with her in the original was that she was a perfect mary-sue with no flaws and lets face it we'd all be lying if we said we didn't see it. However in the sequel she's more flawed, realistic, and well-developed. I didn't like her at all in the original but now I can't decide if I love Belle or Lumiere more in the sequel. The villian is more interesting than Gaston BY FAR! I've never been a real fan of the original but I LOVE Enchanted Christmas and no I'm not on crack. I don't get why people hate this movie so much, it's AWESOME! It sends a beautiful message and isn't that christmas that's all about advretising but more of the traditional value that we all love and miss. The animation is okay and kind of nice, I've seen worse. Belle and Beast are still an amazing couple and this gives this more developement as a couple because it means they have a history. I always cry from joy during As Long As There's Christmas Reprise, when Beast reads the book, and the ending. I love this movie SO much! However it's not higher because the others are more adventurous.

9.Aladdin

This movie means a lot to me and has had a really great impact on me. I'm a guy but as a kid I for some reason had more of a thing for movies where the main character is a girl than I do with boys. I also just loved girl characters more than boy characters. However this was one of the rare exception for me as a kid. Aladdin was one of the characters where I was just obsessive and I would go "Oh I wish I was Aladdin". He's always been my favorite animated hero, no actually my favorite fictional male character EVER! The animation is the best out of all the disney princess movies. I love all the songs in this movie, my favorite has to be A Whole New World, but I also love One Jump Ahead Reprise. The villian in this movie is serious and sinister but at the same time still a funny villian. I actually love all of the main characters, the only characters I don't like have the guards. This movie taught me that I shouldn't be afraid to be myself, not to try to be something I'm not, and that it's never too late to mix the mistakes you've made. I also really loved the series and the sequels, they're part of my childhood. However it's not higher because I guess I just simply love the others more.

8.The Land Before Time

I loved this movie ever since I first saw it. However I have to say I though the second movie was the first movie. But when I saw this when I was six I absolutely fell in love with it. My favorite character is Littlefoot who is one of my all time favorite animated characters. I love how brave, determind, smart, kind he is and how he'll never stop until his goal is achieved and that his friends are safe. I love how dark this movie is for an animated film. I mean looking at it you'd think it was just a silly little cartoon with a bunch of funny dinosaurs but really it's amazing. It doesn't sugar code how violent things were back then. I also loved Sharptooth as a villian. I mean I know he didn't do much but he was really intimidating and really shadows the conflict of well conflict. It's hard to explain but I love him as a villian. I absolutely LOATH Cera, I always have and I always will. She's an ungrateful, spoiled, selfish, annoying, arrogant, racist brat. Anyway I love all the characters, except Cera and her father, Spike is okay. I love the end credit song If We Hold On Together, it's one of the best songs EVER! The death of Littlefoot's mother absolutely devesated me and even to this day I can't help but burst into tears, and I'm a guy who's almost eighteen. So what does that tell you? I love the instrumental music to death. This movie really got me into dinosaurs, I was obsessed with them as a kid. Also this came out the same year as Disney's Oliver and Company(which I love) and the critics said it had more of that Disney formula than the actual Disney film. Ain't that said when a non-disney movie is more Disney than the actual Disney? It was a coming of age story where all the main characters grew and developed, even Cera, not enough for me not to hate her but still. Spike became a little bit more than just someone who just eats, Petrie learns to fly, Ducky earns some courage and guts, Cera stops being racist and actually comes back to help her friends and defeat the Sharptooth, and Littlefoot learns to be a leader and not depend on his mother. I also really enjoyed the sequels. I absolutely LOVE The Land Before Time 2-6, I like The Land Before Time 7 and 8, The Land Before Time 9 and 10 are okay, and The Land Before Time 11-13 are just plain AWFUL! I actually love The Land Before Time 2 almost as much as the original, though not enough to be on my top 10 favorite movies, but I still love it. I absolutely LOATH the TV series, it was cheesy, annoying, stupid, ridiculous, added an unnecessary new main character(Ruby), and doesn't do justice to the films. Anyway I've loved this movie and it's first five sequels and I always will for years to come. However the others I guess I just felt a little bit more of a special something from.

7.The Chronicles of Narnia The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe

Okay so now this is one of the few live-action movies that's actually in my list. What can I say? I just love animated movies SO MUCH! I loved the book series SO MUCH, this is both my favorite of the book series and of the movies made. I always wanted to go into a wardrobe to take me to Narnia. This movie is just so fanstastic and just makes you wish that you could go into the magical land of Narnia, fight with Aslan, and defeat the White Witch. I mean who wouldn't wanna go to this place? It has talking animals, fairies, unicorns, dryads, dwarfs, mermaids, magic, and all that awesome jazz. My favorite character is Lucy, I just love dreamy, adventurous, odd, imaginative characters. If it wasn't for her they never would've discovered Narnia and saved it from the White Witch.I think the White Witch makes is cool because she's manipulative and can seem kind and caring but is really cold and unfeeling. I also really enjoyed the two sequels, they're not as good as the first movie but still really good. It's not higher because the others I just felt something more with. I actually watched the others over and over again.

6.Lady and The Tramp 2: Scamp's Adventure

Now we're back to the underrated movies that I absolutely LOVE! This is BY FAR the best sequel to have ever been invented. It had such a huge impact in my life and the message about family was so beautiful. Unlike other movies about family, even if I like it, it's always kind of cheesy and over done, however this is the exception. I love all the songs in this movie! My favorite song has to be Always There, it's such an amazing song, it always gives me goosebumps. It surpases the original BY FAR with flying colors. My favorite character is Scamp, just like with Aladdin he's one of the few animated male characters I ever payed much attention to. I use to wish that I could be Scamp. I relate to Scamp and when people hate on him and have bad reasons for it(which they always do) I will fight for him. Anyway, I also really love Angel, she's such an awesome character and acts like so much than just some nice pretty girl who's only there to be Scamp's love interest. She actually acts useful to the movie. I also love the villian, at first he seems like this awesome and cool guy that everyone looks up to, which makes him even more awesome because he's not an obvious villian. We have to watch the movie to figure out that he's the villian and his backstory is believable and makes him developed. The animation is amazing. This movie had such an impact on me and I think it can impact everyone in some way. It actually sends a message to everyone in someway; you shouldn't run away from home, you should always follow your dreams but shouldn't stay away from family, you shouldn't be over-protective or be too hard on your kids or they'll run away and you're relationship with them will be awful, no matter what situation your in you shouldn't doubt that you dream will ever come true, love(any kind of love) is better than anything, always be understanding, and always keep trying. This movie sends an amazing message and does it so amazingly. I even once listened to an audio commentary with the directors once and I loved that at the end it said "If there's a Scamp in your family go easy on him... he's a good kid". I'm the Scamp of my family and to me this movie means a lot to me! It's not higher because I think that maybe Scamp should've stayed a streetdog. I mean he went though all this trouble and surely there must be a way for him to have freedom and adventure but still be close to family. Oh well, it's still an amazing movie nonetheless. I just wish Scamp was able to get his dream to come true.

5.Anastasia

There's a lot of citicism with this movie about being historically inaccurate, like Pocahontas. However unlike Pocahontas the critics actually overall love Anastasia. I mean did they really expect them to be accurate when this is a movie for kids? Besides despite what scientist think the mystery of Anastasia's fate is still a mytery. What happened to Anastasia is a matter of opinion and can't be proven. Anyway for me to talk about the actual movie. I love every single song in the movie, especially Once Upon A December which is my favorite non-disney animated song. The animation is absolutely gorgeous, obviously one of the top 5 best. My favorite character is Anastasia because I'm a lot like her; sassy, sarcastic, fun-loving, adventurous, curious, insecure, and doesn't feel like anything special. Plus she's absolutely the most beautiful(along with Melody from Return To The Sea) animated female EVER! I love her and Dimitri as a couple, even though I dislike Dimitri. I think all the characters, except Dimitri, are entertaining. The villian is cool and I love how he actually went into her mind and had her dreaming about her family to lure her to her doom, talk about cruel. I love that this is one of the few movies where the heroine actually defeats the villian and saves the day. This movie has so much emotion and depth with a gorgeous soundtrack. I cried in joy when Anastasia and her grandmother were reunited. The reason it's not higher was because I remember watching the other 4 more even though I watched this movie ALOT!

4.Rodgers and Hammenstein's Cinderella

First of all I wanna pay my respects and say RIP Whitney Houston. I've always loved this version of Cinderella and I actually watched it much more than disney's cartoon version. I just felt like the characters had more personality and I absolutely BY FAR loved the songs MUCH more! I love all of the songs but my favorite is Impossible, Brandy and Whitney are absolutely amazing in that song. I think my favorite character in the movie is Cinderella, even though she does what she's told she has a sassy additude. "Cinderella hot water. Cinderella warm milk. Cinderella! Cinderella!" I love that she actually talks bad about them behind their backs, the cartoon one never would've done that. However the Fairy-Godmother is a VERY close second. The step-mother and step-sisters are also really funny and entertaining. I also love that unlike other films this one doesn't focus on race and just focuses on acting skills, that's something you gotta give them props for. I think this film is kind of underrated because here on fanpop I hear people hate on it all the time and I hate that. I mean there's been three Rodgers and Hammenstien's Cinderella version and this one is BY FAR the best. However now I won't be able to watch it without feeling both sad and happy when I hear Whitney sing. The reason this movie isn't higher is because it just can't beat my top 3 because they're just too amazing.

3.The Swan Princess

This is the last of the underrated movies, I hate how underrated this movie is. Why do people hate this movie so much? THEY'RE NUTS! Even the critics gave it a bad rating and that's because it didn't do as well as The Lion King. SCREW THE LION KING! This movie is a million times better than The Lion King. I love every single one of the characters, that's rare but it's true. My favorite character is Odette; she's strong, independing, brave, smart, gorgeous, doesn't just wait for her prince, and doesn't take garbage from the villian. I also really love Derek and Uberta, she's absolutely HILARIOUS! The villian is awesome, he's both entertaining and fun but also sinister and cruel. I love every single one of the songs in the entire movie! Use to I would with that I could turn into a swan just like Odette. My favorite song is Far Longer Than Forever, obviously the best song in the movie. Also Odette and Derek are BY FAR the best fictional couple in existance, they're better than every single one of the disney couples. I'm a teenage guy but I absolutely lost it when Odette died and I was balling. I'm not afraid to admit it! I also really loved the sequels, Uberta is HILARIOUS in the second movie. This movie is BY FAR the best non-disney animated film EVER! It's not higher because I just wish I could actually live the other two more.

2.The Wizard of Oz

First of all I'd like to start this out by showing my respects again, RIP Judy Garland. This is BY FAR the best live-action film in existance! I love all the songs and always find myself dancing around whenever they're going down the yellow brick road. Somewhere Over The Rainbow is probably my favorite song EVER! Dorathy is my favorite character, she's so charming, sweet, strong, brave, beautiful, smart, and relatable. No wonder even to this day people still love this movie. The Wicked Witch of The West use to scare me to death as a kid. I love using references from this movie in real, like saying "you have no power here, begone before someone drops a house on you". I always laugh so much when that door man freaks out, especially "WHO RANG THAT BELL". I always wished that I could get taken by a tornado into the wonderful world of Oz. I wanna live this story SO MUCH! This movie was actually almost my number 1 favorite movie. However I watched both movies and while it was very hard, it just couldn't beat my absolutely favorite movie of ALL TIME. However it only beat The Wizard of Oz SLIGHTLY!

1.The Little Mermaid

If you know me you know that this is no surprise AT ALL! I think one reason this movie is number 1 is because it's disney and I just jad to have disney as number one. I love the soundtrack and the intrumental music in the movie, it give me goosebumps. Part of your world is probably my favorite song EVER. I just love listening to Jodi Benson's voice, I could listen to it all day. The animation is beautiful, not one of the best but it's very good. I love a lot of the characters. My favorite character is obviously Ariel, she's so awesome! Everyone relates to her in some way, wheather they admit it or not. This is the first disney princess movie where the prince actually gets a personality. The villian is one of the best villians EVER, she's fun, funny, and entertaining but also cunning, manipulative, and cruel. This movie had the biggest impact on my life, even more than Lady and The Tramp 2: Scamp's Adventure. Ariel taught me to always go after my dreams and to do whatever it takes no matter what the price. It shows things that happen in real life because there are people in this world who have to sacrafice and give up so much for love. Plus there are a lot of families who are like Ariel and Triton, this movie gives out hope that maybe one day they're relationship won't be so strained. I love that the ending still have sacrafice because Triton has to give up his daughter and Ariel has to give up her friends and family, so it's still bittersweet while still having a happy ending. The ending gets me everytime and I always cry from joy in the end, especially when Ariel says "I love you daddy". It shows that she's grown as a character and realizes all the mistakes she's made. This movie not only touches me but it touches a lot of people with such a beautiful message. A director who worked on the movie said he got a letter from someone who was fighting in the war who had a strained relationship with his daughter. He and his daughter both saw the movie, though not together, he called her and they made up. This movie really has a message and meaning that's so beautiful that it knows no age. I think this movie is fit for all ages and genders. Heck I'm a 17 year old guy and it's my favorite movie EVER and it always will be. I also love the sequels, though they're no where as good as the original. The original version of The Little Mermaid was awful and disney fixed it. It sends a beautiful message about love, bravery, determination, dreams coming true, family, friends, and how good things happen to good people. This tell this wonderful adventure in such a fun entertaining way that your torn because you wish you could just go into the movie and be part of that amazing adventure however you don't wanna change anything about this masterpiece. I could go on forever on how much I love this movie but I'd break my computer. So this is BY FAR the BEST movie of ALL TIME!
