Is "Avatar" a must-see for me?

I've been noticing that a lot of people are huge fans of this movie, and it looks pretty good from the previews I've seen. So...if anyone out there has seen this film, should I go and see it?

Here's some things that may help you figure out if I would be a fan of this film; I mainly love horror films with a few Dramas here and there.

It's not a movie you say that you will remember for the rest of your life as sth with quality. Except for the visual effects, it is an average film with a standard script with optimistic messages for the average viewer. I don't think you will be invested in the movie.

Yes! No doubt yes! Especially in 3D but it's amazing without too. But... definitely go and watch it! Even if you're not a fantasy/sience fiction genre fan 'cause believe me, neither am I, but this movie is something extraoridinary! I'm sure you won't regret it :)
