Zombies was not accurate and it had no suspence to it like ya knew what was going to happen next but Carpenters was full of suspence and Jamie lee curtis is and was and always will be the best actrice for Halloween and you can't replace Donald plesant as Loomis nobody can replace him. hes my favorite

If you saw the older films like myself then Zombie's was disappointing. The story changed, Michael changed, it was just all wrong. And Donald Pleasance was the best Dr. Loomis hands down. Plus the way John Carpenter shot certain angles made it scarier. A true classic.

I liked both of the Halloweens but John Carpenters was my favorite, and i see what point of view Zombie was tring to create...he was tring to go deeper into his past and show you what kind of life he had which i think is a good idea i just think he could have done it differently and as far as replacing Jamie Lee Curtis...Idk it just isnt the same without her! And Donald Pleasnce is dead but I dont think that Malcome person has any resemblence to Donald but Whatever..and i looove all the older movies of Halloween i have every single one of them on DVD, My personal fav is Halloween 5 I love the movies with his neice in it...Zombies film had absoulutly nothing to do with the original films but I guess he was tring to film it without any one understanding the plot :l

John Carpenter is the man- he created the devil that is Michael Myers and to this day Halloween is my favorite horror movie. No matter how anybody remakes it, it cant compare. Oh and the remake sucked.

John Carpenter. He and Debra Hill created this masterpiece that is Halloween. John even wrote the creepy theme song that still scares the shit out of everyone who hears it. Zombie needs to stick with music. Sometimes Less is more.
