Mom went over to Dad and stroked his face. " Babe, you'll be okay." She said, tears in the edge of her eyelids.

I sat down in a chair and put my hands on my face. " Mom, I can't take this anymore. Can we leave?"

Mom looked over at me then at Dad. " I'll stay here for awhile. You go ahead babe."

I grabbed my purse and went out. While I was in the elevator, I was wondering why the nurse kicked Raymond out, because nobody knew that he shot Dad.

On the first floor, I headed out toward the exit, looking for Raymond's Big Van. He's the only way we can get home, if we want to live.

I spotted it quickly because of it's tacky lime green color. I climbed in and saw Raymond, smoking a cigar.

He looked up at me. " Well well, what do we have here?" He said, smiling devilishly.

I frowned. " Calm down, man. I'm just waiting for my mother."

He let out a evil laugh. " Isn't that sweet. Your mother letting you come down all by yourself." He said sarcastically.

I gave him a smirk. " I'm 17, not 17 months." I said, rolling my eyes.

Raymond took the cigar out of his mouth and crushed it with his foot. " You're quite a jokester. Just like your father." He snickered.

I laughed sarcastically. " Very funny Ray. Anyway, why did the nurse kick you out?" I asked, playing with my hair.

Raymond glanced over at me. " She knew who I was."

I was puzzled by his answer. No one knew who shot Dad except Mom and I. " What do you mean?"

He let out a seductive sigh. " I was known to like girls way younger than me." He said, getting closer to me.

He used his hands to try to unbutton my shirt. I smacked his hand away and backed away. " No, this isn't what I want!" I screamed.

He climbed on top of me, kissing my neck. He successfully unbuttoned my shirt, because his grip was too strong for me.
" I need you." He said, rubbing my inner thigh.

I struggled to get Raymond off of me. He slipped his hands behind my back to unsnap my bra. " Stop Raymond! This isn't right!" I said, sour tears rolling down my cheeks.

Raymond looked at me straight in the eyes and said. " If I don't have you, I have nobody." ....
