As they arrived at the restaurant, Michael gave the valet the keys, so he can park his SUV in the reserved parking space. Michael and entered the restaurant where the hostess escorted them to their table way in the back, and Michael pulled out the chair for Maris, so she can sit down. "Thank you," she replied, "Oh, you're welcome," he said, and he pulled and sat down as well. While waiting for the Maitre'd, Michael attempted to start a conversation with Maris, but he didn't what talk about, so he just made some small talk in regards to her modeling career, and her success trying to break the ice.

Everything was going to plan according to Michael, and he wanted everything to be special; addition, to the wine and champagne he ordered. The room was dimly lit with soft candlelight and the mood was very romantic, and all Michael had to was break down the barriers of communication pertaining to this mysterious woman. The waiter arrived into the dimly lit room to take their orders, and asked them that wanted to drink with the wine. They both ordered two glasses of water.
