A week soon passed and Rebecca was excited. Today was the day Michael Jackson was signing his albums. She got up and went to her closet and searched through her clothes to find out what she'd wear. She took out her favorite black button up shirt with a white stripe on the right arm and her black pants that went down to her ankles. Not only was it his album signing, it was also her birthday. She'd be turning 23. She changed into her outfit and thought about what she'd be doing today. "Ok, after the album signing, I'll go get something to eat. Maybe squeal my head off from meeting Michael Jackson..." Once she got her clothes on, she put her white socks and black loafers on and went to the mirror and fixed her hair the way her dad always did when he would style her hair. While styling, her mother walked in. "Rebecca..." She said. Rebecca, once finished, turned to her mother. "I'm sorry for last night. I'm still trying to get over the divorce your father and I had. I didn't mean to beat you a lot. Its just...I didn't know what I was doing. I wasn't wanting you to go to the album signing and the concert, but since it's your birthday today, I'll let you go. You are old enough after all. Anyway, Crystal called and wondered where you are. She's waiting for you." Rebecca looked at her watch and noticed that it was a little after 11. "Oh sh-ra! Thanks, mom! I forgive you. I gotta get going! See ya later!" Then she ran out the door, after grabbing her fedora, her sunglasses, and her keys, and went to her car and headed out to Crystal's house, the Invincible album still playing in the car.
After about 30 minutes, she finally reached Crystal's house. Crystal got out of the house and into the car. "I thought you'd never make it!" She said, putting her seatbelt on. "Sorry, I lost track of time." "It's alright. Let's go!" Rebecca backed out of the driveway and they headed to the arena for the album signing. Crystal noticed Rebecca's outfit. "Did you make that? It looks amazing." She asked. "Yeah, I did. Thanks." All the way to the arena, they were singing along with the Invincible album. They were having so much fun singing along. "Should we tell him that it's your birthday today, too? Maybe he'll take you out to lunch or something." "Oh no. Let's not tell him." "Why not?" "Because I don't want him to waste his money on me. Besides, he probably won't even like me." "Don't say that! He more than likely would like you." "I don't know..." "Well, we'll think of something. Anyway, could you make me something like that?" "Sure, I'd just need your measurements on what you want me to make." "Cool!!" During the drive, they continued chatting on life and stuff.
At the arena
Rebecca and Crystal got out of the car and went inside. People were staring at Rebecca because of how she was dressed. Then a little boy came up to Rebecca. "Michael Jackson?" He asked. Rebecca chuckled and smiled and knelt down to his height. "I'm sorry, but I'm not Michael Jackson. By the way, what's your name?" She said. "Billy. My name's Billy." "Nice to meet you, Billy. I'm Rebecca. What happened to your arm?" Rebecca noticed a fairly large cut on Billy's arm. "I got into an accident with my parents." "Oh goodness...do you want me to wrap it up for you?" "Please?" "Alright. Hold out your arm, Billy." He held out his arm and Rebecca got out the rubbing alcohol, gauze, and bandage wrap. She cleaned out the wound and put the gauze on it and wrapped it up. "There you go, Billy. All done." "Thank you. Oh, could you sign it, too? Please?" Rebecca giggled. "Alright, Billy." She got out her black sharpie and signed her name on the bandage cast. "There you go." "Thank you, Rebecca!" He said, hugging her, making sure he doesn't hurt himself any further. Rebecca giggled and hugged back. "You're welcome, Billy. Now...do you wanna meet Michael Jackson?" "Yeah!!" Rebecca stood up and waited in line with Crystal, holding Billy's free hand.
At the desk
Michael was signing both albums and pictures of the Invincible album. He was looking up and saw a girl helping a little boy wrap his arm. 'Who's that?' He thought, still signing the albums and pictures. As soon as the line went down a bit, he looked up to see the two girls with the same little boy. He gave them a smile and autographed an album and a picture for them and handed them to the girls. Before they walked away, one of the girls went back to him with the little boy. "Excuse me, Michael, but...could you sign my bandage cast?" The little boy asked. Michael smiled at him and motioned him to come behind the desk. He took out his marker and autographed the bandage cast. He looked at the other signature on the cast and it said Rebecca Ishtar with a heart next to it. He looked up and saw that the girl was dressed in a Black or White outfit and noticed the stripe on her arm. He decided to ask. "If you don't mind me asking...why do you wear the stripe on your arm?" He asked her. "Oh, well...I don't like seeing children suffer, to be honest. I don't like it when they suffer so much. It hurts to see them injured and stuff." She said. Michael knew it sounded familiar. He thought back to a tweet Rebecca had sent him about wearing a stripe on her arm. I hate seeing kids suffer like I did...abusive parents, neighborhood gangs...I just don't like seeing them all banged up. 'Could this girl be Rebecca?' He thought. He looked at her and remembered her profile picture on twitter. 'It's got to be her. I'd have to ask, but I don't wanna push it.' "Anyway, thanks so much for the autograph, Michael Jackson." "No problem." Michael stood up, after giving Billy a hug and gave the girl a hug. She was shocked, but hugged back. They let go and Billy followed the girls out of the arena. 'That's sweet of her to do that for Billy. I need to figure out if that's Rebecca, though.' He thought, continuing to sign the albums and the pictures, Rebecca being on his mind. Once he looked up again, he saw the other girl that was with her, back. "Is there something wrong?" He asked. She shook her head. "No, its just...it's her birthday today. Can you tell her somehow?" She said. "I'll think of something. I'll tweet her. Don't worry." "Thank you so much! Well, I gotta go. She's waiting for me. Bye!" "Bye." Then she ran out. Michael, after signing the last album and picture, got out his laptop and got on twitter and signed in. He tweeted to Rebecca: "Happy birthday, Rebecca." He soon got a tweet back from her. "Thank you!" is what she wrote back. He tweeted back to her: "Wanna meet me somewhere? Like at a restaurant or something?" She tweeted back: "Sure, but where?" He thought of a good place and tweeted her: "Meet me in front of the theater in 2 hours, I'll be there picking you up to take you to the restaurant." She replied: "Alright :) See you in two hours." He sent back as a final tweet: "Alright, Rebecca." Then he signed off and went to the car and Bill drove him home.
At Crystal's house
Rebecca stopped the car and turned to Crystal. "Hey, Crystal...I want you to have this." Rebecca said, handing her the Invincible album she had bought a long while back. Crystal took it and smiled. "You want me to have this? Well, I'm giving you the autographed one then! Here!" She said, handing the autographed album to Rebecca, smiling. Rebecca took it in her hands and smiled at her. "Thank you so much for planning this out, Crystal. It means a lot to me." "No problem. Oh, and Happy Birthday, best friend!" Rebecca giggled. "Thank you. See you next week for the concert?" "Yeah! Later!" Crystal got out of the car, waved, and headed inside. Rebecca backed out of the driveway and headed home to get ready to go to the theater.
Once at home
She got out of the car and went inside. "Mother! I'm home!" She said, putting her keys on the rack. Her mother came out and noticed that she had something in her hand. "What's that?" She asked. Rebecca held it out and showed her that it was an autographed album of Michael Jackson's. "Michael Jackson signed this album for me." "What happened to the album you bought?" "I gave it to Crystal. I figured if she wanted a Michael Jackson album, why not give her the one I bought? Then she gave me this one. I let her keep the autographed picture so she'd have something from him at least." "That's cool, Rebecca." Her mother smiled at her. "Well, I gotta get ready. I gotta head to the theater to meet someone there." "Oh? Who are you meeting?" "I don't know. This guy I was talking to last night. He said he was gonna take me to a restaurant for my birthday." "Oh, alright. Have fun then. What are you gonna wear?" "Oh...maybe my skirt and a different shirt. I can't be dressed like this all day long." "Haha, you're right. Well, I'll help you find something." Her mother followed her into her room and searched her closet while Rebecca placed the album down on her nightstand. Her mother grabbed her red button up shirt with a black stripe on the right arm and gave it to her to switch out her button up. She changed out of her black button up and put her red one on. Her mother went through her closet again and couldn't find a skirt. "Where are your skirts?" "Oh, I forgot I don't have any." Her mother sighed and chuckled and continued looking through her closet. She found a pair of black skinny jeans and her boots. "Why not wear these?" She took out the skinny jeans and the boots and showed her. Rebecca nodded. "Sure. Great idea, Mother!" She smiled and changed out of her loafers and pants and into the skinny jeans and boots. "Now that I've changed...what about my hair? Should I keep it this way or should I do something else?" "Keep it the way it is. It's cute with it. Just don't wear the fedora with it, okay?" "Okay, Mother." She took off the fedora and put it on her bed. She looked at the time and her two hours were almost up. "Well, I gotta get going now. Thanks for the help, mom!" "No problem. Be careful with whoever it is, okay?" "Got it! Thanks! Later!" "Bye!" Then she headed out the door with her keys and headed to the theater on foot, since she didn't live far away from it, smiling.

One, Two, Three, Four

This is it, here I stand
I'm the light of the world, I feel grand
Got this love I can feel
And I know yes for sure it is real

And it feels as though I've your face a thousand times
And you said you really know me to yourself
And I know that you got addicted with your eyes
But you say you gonna live it yourself

Oh

I never heard a single word about you
Falling in love wasn't my plan
I never thought that I would be your lover
Come on baby just understand

This is it, I can say
I'm the light of the world, run away
We can feel, this is real
Every time...

Two weeks later, Holly sits crossed legged in John Branca’s office couch on a rainy Thursday afternoon trying to interview a potential manager. After three possible candidates, the only thing she has established is that her eyes are now beginning to hurt after all the eye rolling she has been doing in-between the candidate’s ass kissing. She knows what she is looking for and it is not these men who seem like “yes” people. Holly is looking for someone who makes an entrance, an impact and who will most importantly get the job done. John looks over at Holly who is staring off into space...

Well, I don't even know where to begin... I started on Fanpop back in 2008/2009 (somewhere around there), and during that time I really didn't have many friends. I was always viewed as a weirdo, or something stupid. I had a major obsession with Michael Jackson. It was his art, his music, how he put so much passion and soul into his ART. I loved it. It fascinated me, and always will. He was such a caring person, and people did him wrong. In a way, I felt like I could relate too... Keep in mind, I was only 12-13 years old at the time. (I'm 21 now, and my math skills really ain't good here, okay!!)...
