Do you think Janet Jackson should be the Queen of Pop?
Janet Jackson is frikkin AMAZZIINNNGGG! She has the best tunes to party i have ever heard! I love all of her songs :D! and she deserves it! Love you Janet :) <3
YES!! janet deserves it better than madonna i dont like madonna at all she doesnt work hard like janet does plus madonna doesnt even put her all in her music like janet does and madonna music is good an all but i dont get her music at all i get janets better than her's janet deserves it 1,0000 percent i love janet and her music she amazing like michael is :) matter of fact janet is the queen of pop in my book
I personally don't think that there is a woman who is qualified for this job (please don't kill me!). But Janet is on a right track. If I compare female artists to male artists it gets so drastic because what the most female artists do is simply nothing! That's not the case with Janet, though, rather with Madonna. Janet is a hard-working woman, she is not the youngest anymore but for sure she knows how to show all the power and passion she still has to give. I do think to a certain degree that Janet deserves to be the 'Queen of Pop', not because she is Michael's sister but because of what she is.
PS: She is already a 'Queen of Pop' along with Madonna, Mariah Carey, Beyonce, etc.
I personally think that this is a very opinionated question. As I saw from some answers below, some people think that she does deserve it. Others think that she doesn't, because others already have the title. (Madonna, and is some cases Lady Gaga) I really don't know what to say.
Madonna has influenced me throughout my childhood, but so has Michael and a few hits by his sister. I'm not saying that I don't think Janet doesn't deserve it, I just think that (As some users said before) just because her brother was the king, doesn't mean she already has a spot at being the queen.
Other artists have claimed that title: Madonna, Mariah Carrey, but, Lady Gaga? I think that that just opinionated.
Anyway, that's my answer. Don't like it? That's your problem not mine, I'm just expressing my opinion.
Ok in my opinion its between janet and modanna. Both of them can put on a great show. They both inspire artist of today. Now lets look at their work ethnic. Now janet grew up in the spotlight and has always worked extremly hard like her brother. Modanna had to hustle her way in the buisness but most of the time she would just sleep with who ever is in charge( madonna fans dont get mad cause its true)To me janet puts in more work. madonna puts in work but i think its only enough work to put on a show like rehuasals. I think janet works hader.
Now with lady gaga she baisically did ten years of madonna in 1 album. I got to say her songs are great but shes not in this catagory. the same way justin beiber and usher are not in the catagory for king of pop. so there you have it. Janet(for me)
