Fionna's pov
I just sat on my couch staring at the piece of paper between my clenched together fists. Tears began to overwhelm my eyes I couldn't believe that my best friend had left me alone for good. I couldn't stop the tears from pouring down both my cheeks. My eyes burned a pain of sorrow. I felt the makeup run down my face. I grabbed the blanket next to me and whipped my face. I slowly and depressingly walked up my stairs into my room. I looked around and noticed all of Cake's stuff was now gone. The sorrow soon returned and the tears once more began to pour from my eyes. I changed out of my ball gown and into some pajama pants and a pink tank top. I walked back downstairs and laid on my couch. Still not able to believe that Cake had left. And how I may never see her again. I soon felt tired some and dozed off into a sad slumber.
Marshall's pov
Once bubble brains finally left my cave I looked around wandering where my angel went. I looked upstairs and in the kitchen. Even in the bathroom but she was no were to be found I also noticed that her shoes were gone. I disided to go to her house to make sure she was ok. I grabbed my umbrella since the sun was about to rise and I flew to her house. I stopped infront of the tree house and let myself in. I saw Fionna on the couch crying. I floated by her which made her jump a little. But after noticing that it was me. She wrapped her arms around my neck and began crying more. I dropped my umbrella making it thrash against the wooden floor. I put one arm one her back and the other on the back of her head embracing her in a hug. I soothingly rubbed the back of her head. Letting her cry on my shoulder I softly and gently tilted her chin making her face go in the direction of mine. I looked into her lovely blue eyes. And she looked into my cold hard blood red eyes. I soon pulled her in for a kiss. And I felt the passion run through my body. Making my legs feel as if they were melting. And as if my heart was actually beating. We slowly pulled apart. I gently wiped the tears out of Fionna's eyes and asked her.
Marshall:What's wrong doll face?
Fionna:Cake left.
Marshall:What do you mean?
Fionna:I mean Cakes gone forever and I'll never see her again.
Marshall:Oh Fionna I'm so sorry.
Fionna:It's ok she's safe somewhere.
Marshall:See there's nothing to worry about.
Fionna:Marshall...I love you.
Marshall:•blushes•I love you too Fionna.
Fionna:Really?
Marshall:Of course.
Fionna:Thanks.
Marshall:No problem.

I couldn't believe what was going on. He really loves me I kept think to myself. I felt his cold hand on my arms. I never felt this way in my life. But when I'm with Marshall I always feel save. He pressed his lips against mine. My body had a new feeling a feeling of pure happiness. Are legs wrapped together. I never wanted to let him go. He really was the guy of my dreams. I always thought that Gumball and I were meant to be but no it was me and Marshall Lee.

I felt my body grow tired and I soon started to drift off into the nightly sleep. I felt his arms wrap around me making me feel safer than ever. I soon fell asleep with my lover protecting me.
