Oh, sure thing, CF =D. In the Catholic school system our grade school is from Kindergarten to grade 8, once you reach grade eight you graduate from the school much like how you graduate high school, then for four years you attend high school and graduate from that. I think they still do a Kindergarten graduation to humor the Kindergarteners simply because it's cute and parents get to feel proud their child has made it through two years of half school days XD. Not that the children aren't adorable ;).

But the good food thing sounds nice :D. Kath (a close friend of my mother's) is from Britain too! And apparently had horrible food at school too (I think it's a high school thing even though my siblings say the food at their cafeteria is actually pretty good) and now sometimes out of the blue she'll get the scent of figgy pudding and wil get sick, apparently she hated figgy pudding and the nuns at her school made her eat it anyway :P.

We also have 13 years of school if you choose to attend grade 13 for credit improving to better your grades and education before you start post-high school education but other than that it's Jr. Kindergarten, Sr. Kindergarten (which are pretty much just day care with more educational value for some reason :P) 1-8 and 9-12 so I guess we have 13 years of school as well :D.

I'm thinking of pulling an Aly, shall I?
