I would think true love means loyalty.

Yes but when I say polygamy I mean where there is no cheating, where all the people are together in the relationship. Polygamists (and I mean modern polygamists, not freaky cult people where it's like one man taking advantage of 20 women) support their lifestyle by saying that everything is open between them, and everyone in the relationship truly cares about another. They say in this way it actually prevents cheating and stops them from hurting the other person.

I've heard from some people that three-way relationships usually work with a dominant couple with another person on the side.

For me, I don't know if polygamy could work, because in a normal couple, you have to invest so much in the other person if it is love. It seems to me that if you have true relationship with three or more people, your emotions would not be as deep, simply because you have to spread time and effort around to more people.

But I am not a polygamist, those who are say that it works for them and they are happy, so who am I to dictate how their relationship should be?

Hmm..well it's possible and it depends on the people doing it squarely but saying you feel some way about a person and then going to some other people make me ponder..Love to me seems like it's only meant for two people no more there are obviously times where one thinks they love someone but they don't..no one knows what the other person is thinking we can't read their minds but I feel it just can't be done love is a two way thing you can think all you want but doing and saying (as I said) are two different things in the situation.

I think you can love two or more people at the same time, but you love them both/all in different ways and there's one that you love more or most.

At least id go crazy. I wouldn't want to share my man. I'd be super jealous to see him kiss someone thats not me, never mind having sex with another person. I would not sign up for that D:
