FRESHMAN PROBLEM!

Well, which one do you care MOST about? Ie, the one who:
* You miss if you don't see her that day, every day
* The one who brightens your day whenever you think of her
* The one who brightens your day most whenever she talks to you
* The one whose views you most value (Which one is your confident - the one you trust to give you an honest opinion about difficult things?)
* The one whose birthday/other gift you put the most thought into choosing
* The one who CARES MOST about you - who misses you if she doesn't see you each day, who remembers your birthday (etc), who asks your advice, values your input etc.

If one of the girls you know meets this criteria, TRY MAKING HER YOUR GIRLFRIEND.

How to do it? Notice that you already share each other's confidences and trust each other. Why not tell her "There's something I'd like to discuss with you - I'd like to share this with you" and go from there?

And REMEMBER PLEASE having a girlfriend is a BIG RESPONSIBILITY. Too many boys think a girlfriend exists to be their 24/7 cheersquad without caring about what THEY OWE TO HER. It has to be a reciprocal relationship - you remember her birthday, she remembers yours. She forsakes all others for you, you forsake all others for her. By becoming boyfriend and girlfriend you agree to put each other on the same level as yourself. If you're not ready to treat a girlfriend that way, you aren't ready for a girlfriend. Just enjoy your friendships and wait - love will come one day.
