Need Help! Please? <3

Okay so today i asked my friend to ask a guy out for me, & he just started laughing like a weirdo, and when i glanced to look at him, he was STILL laughing until my friend left. Then at 7th period, he starts to look & smile at me. (My guess: he likes me). & when i called my teacher a liar + when i got mad at this annoying kid, he laughed! So does he still like me? Because i think he does. Plus my friend said he never asked a girl out, that's why he laughed weirdly. So am i right?
