Lord of the Rings LOTR Heros

In Lord of the Ring(1-3) there are many heros.
Well,Who's your hero? Why?

My hero is Pippin. He was so brave. He stood up to those Orc/Uruk-Hai!
Plus in RotK he saved Faramir from Denathor's madness.
Denathor was about to burn Faramir but Pippin went and Ran to Gandalf.Soon Gandalf and Pippin arvive and Gandalf knocks Denathor off the pile of wood where they are burning Faramir and Pippin bravely jumps in and rolls Faramir off the pile of burning wood!

it's really the same answer that you gave about why Pippin's one of them, but for merry it's cuz he really grew since he left the shire and fought in the war at the end even though theoden told him not to with eowyn

Sam. In my opinion, he was the true hero of the story. He is described as a simple gardener at first, yet he shows true humility and loyalty to Frodo all the way to Mount Doom. When he carried the Ring for Frodo after the fight at Shelob's lair, the Ring had no effect on him because he resisted the temptation of greed and power. And without Sam, the story would have ended on the steps of Cirith Ungol.
