this is just like macintosh's versus game only instead of two characters within the series it will be a character, place, event in the series vs. a character, place, event from another series, show, book, etc.

i'll start:

Even though I love both of these stories The Lord of the Rings series had alot more character and richness behind it. It was the fruits of decades of work where as the Pirates of the Caribbean though hard worked for was just based off of the ride. So I vote The Lord of the Rings.
