I think that yeah, love's a nice, powerful thing. But "overcoming the odds"? Uhh, no. Love isn't going to make all the pressure and hate go away. Love isn't going to make gay people be allowed to get married all of a sudden. Love isn't going to stop the suicides and the bullying.

Love for yourself regardless of sexual orientation or Love for your partner or Love in general?

This question makes makes me laugh and cringe. I mean just... WHAT.

i know this probably isnt the best example but the movie, "Brokeback Mountain" is a movie that follows the lives of two gay men who are in love but must keep it a secret because of society. The movie goes through a 20 year period of when they meet up until one of the characters die. This movie is a great example of real life of how society hates against the lgbt community, so in the end NO love does not conquer all obstacles.

P.s. if you get the chance, watch Brokeback Mountain. Its a beautiful, Academy Award Winning movie that stars Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal. The end will haunt for days and if you dont cry at the end then your not human.
