Sweetie, I know it's hard out there to be a single young girl, let alone a single young lesbian. Odds are, there probably aren't a lot of datable girls at your school who swing that way, and I get that, I really, really do. It's lonely.
Right now.
But honey, you are,
way to young to be dating anyone over the internet. It's just not safe. And I know you're probably rolling your eyes and thinking that you've heard it all before - and you probably have. But you've heard it all before
for a reason. I don't care if you'll say you'll be careful, and that you know all the risks. You can't be careful enough and the risks aren't worth the gain. Don't do it, plain and simple.
At the risk of sounding like the celebrities on that recent internet campaign - it
does get better. In a few years, you'll graduate from high school and go off to college and meet dozens of new, interesting people, some of which are bound to be gay, like yourself. You'll find someone out there for you, and maybe
then, when you're 18, you can look for someone to date on the internet, but please, not before.
In the mean time, if you need someone to talk to - just to
talk to, about things that are bugging you, you can always feel free to send me a message.
Lastly - Fanpop is not a dating site, and soliciting relationships is against its
link,
especially if you are under 18.
