Ok, while I enjoyed her character I don't think she was an accurate portrayal of any of the original Guinevere stories I've ever heard. I mean, if you look at the two original stories of King Arthur, 'History Regum Britanniare' or 'Le Morte d'Arthur' she is in no way described as the way she is in this movie. I think Hollywood loves to take a character and just run with it (and ruin it!) so....

I wasnt saying that her portrayl was in any way accurate to what the orginal Guinevere stories describe her to be...I was asking this in a movie-based manner--and yah Hollywood wouldnt be themselves without twisting and altering the story..historicle or fiction.....but I dont exactly agree with the "ruining"..I think of the movie more as an interpretation than actual fact-and I personally love watching the genius of Antone Fuqua unfold--even though its not an acurate portrayal of the story...I find extremely compelling:)

Yeah I did enjoy the movie, but it kinda annoyed me that they tried to make it a 'King Arthur' movie. I mean, it had little to do with the original stories or newer versions (interpretations, whatever), I think they should have just made it a stand-alone movie. I think that's what got to me about it. If it was made as a historical fiction/fantasy movie in it's own right rather than trying to be coined as an Arthurian legend, I probably would have enjoyed it much more.

Yah...lol....thats perfectly understandable:D I think that I would have liked the movie just as much-if not more-had it been of its own right...but stand-alone movie or not, I still find "King Arthur" intriguing as ever:)...although the story-line is not at all acurate at times.

Hahaha! I haven't watched this movie yet, but I imagine it'd be very good. I know the Guinevere from Excalibur had the personality of a sad wet paper bag XD poor Guinevere...I only watch Excalibur because of Nigel Terry...*accidentally drools* Whoops...
