The notification came in late Friday afternoon that pop star Kelly Clarkson has cancelled the Canadian portion of her tour, including the Vancouver date set for Oct. 17 at Rogers Arena.
In a press release sent by promoter Live Nation, Clarkson stated that health concerns are behind the cancellation.
“I am truly sorry that I have to cancel the remainder of my tour dates,” the Grammy-winning
champion said in the release. “I was looking forward to sharing this tour with all my amazing fans in Canada and the UK. Unfortunately my doctor is telling me I have to stay on vocal rest, but I am working hard to get better as fast as possible.”
Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase for the following concerts:
