Justin Bieber Talks Recent Nude Photo Experience: ‘I Feel Violated’

When paparazzi-snapped nude photos Justin Bieber leaked earlier this month — and by “leaked,” I mean “were published by the

” — Bieber’s team immediately took legal action, sending the newspaper a cease and desist letter.

We could stop talking about this whole thing right there since the lawyers are handling it now, and we could tell ourselves that we should just move on. But it’s easy to forget there’s a person at the center of this entire ordeal — and that person is Justin Bieber, who finally opened up about the experience, telling “Access Hollywood” that hey, publishing those photos was not a cool thing to do.

“My first thing was like…how can they do this? Like, I feel super violated. Like, I feel like I can’t step outside and feel like I can go outside naked. Like, you should feel comfortable in your own space… especially that far away,” Justin said in an interview that will air Monday, Oct. 19.

The photos were reportedly taken as Justin vacationed in Bora Bora earlier this month. Once the

published them, the Internet wasted no time circulating them, cracking jokes and doing pretty much everything that shouldn’t be done when a person’s privacy is violated — no matter if that person is Justin Bieber or Jennifer Lawrence or anyone.

Bieber also talked about how his song “What Do You Mean” shot to the top of the

Hot 100 charts earlier this summer, earning him his first No. 1.

“I’ve been around for so long that people thought that maybe I had a number one already and I’ve had number ones, like number one on iTunes and stuff, but to have a

number one is really special because it’s like everything added up together,” Justin said. “I debuted at number one and I think I’m the youngest person to debut at number one, which is pretty awesome.”
