Gallup Korea polled 1,700 citizens, 13 years of age and older to compile the list of favorite singers, athletes, actors etc. Of the votes received for singer, IU placed 4th with 3.6% and is the youngest solo singer on the list!
Gallup has been conducting polls in South Korea since 1974.

Cho Yong-pil (7.2 %), Lee Sun-Hee (4.4 %), Jang Yun-jeong (3.9%), IU (3.6%) , Tae Jin-ah (3.3%), EXO (2.9%), Lee Seung Chul (2.8%), Im Ji Ah (2.8%), Na Hoon Ah (2.5%), SNSD (2.1%)
