IU revealed that despite her usual natural look, she has a face full of makeup on. The reporter commented, "You have the kind of image that makes it seem like you don't wear makeup." The singer responded, "I wear BB cream, eyeliner, lipstick, and eyelashes," and laughed.
She also said frankly on how she keeps her skin so beautiful, "It's not because I'm young anymore. Because I had to shoot a CF today, I went to the dermatologist yesterday... Moon Chae Won sunbae's advertisement was so beautiful, I practiced while watching it."

The bassist posted on November 2 a picture of IU's new album, 'CHAT-SHIRE,' and wrote, "Kiha gave me this saying, 'It's a present.' When I saw this, I felt against my better judgment that it was worthwhile to do music."
The album picture shows IU's writing, which says, "Joong Yeop oppa. Please enjoy listening to this! I am supporting you!" So cute.

On May 8, singer IU updated her Instagram with a photo captioned, “A food truck sent by In Na. Mom In Na. Mom, I’ll be a good daughter. Generous In Na.”
In the photo, IU smiles widely as she makes a heart with her arms in front of the food truck sent by Yoo In Na. The banner on top of the food truck says, “Eat this and work hard and make sure to succeed!!!”
IU is currently filming for a new SBS drama called “Scarlet Heart: Goryeo” (formerly called “Moon Lovers”) which is set to premiere on August 29. The drama is an adaption of the titular Chinese web novel and will be broadcast in both China and Korea simultaneously.

It’s that time of year again and once again The Independent Critics List released their 100 Most Beautiful Faces of 2013 list. This year, After School‘s Nana, Girls’ Generation‘s Taeyeon and miss A‘s Suzy along with 11 other Korean stars made it on the list.
This list was released on December 24 and Nana ranked the highest at #2. Taeyeon placed #9 and Suzy at #14.

Black Pink's Rose sent her love to IU on the July 5th installment of 'Weekly Idol'.
Jung Hyung Don and Defconn asked, "IU sent Rose a love call and said she wants to work with you. How do you feel?" Rose couldn't hold back her excitement, saying, "I found out because my dad sent a message in the family chat room. At first, I didn't believe it. I thought it was ridiculous."
She continued, "It's such an honor. I'll work hard and practice my singing in the future. I respect you."

Aired on October 3rd, the entertainment show held an interview with the Sassy, Go Go drama star where the interviewer said to her, “You took first place in a recent survey as the best idol actress. IU was in second, Suzy was in third place.”
Eunji could not contain her joy as she was told this as she smiled widely in happiness. “Really?” she said.
Sassy, Go Go is set to have its first episode air on October 5th.
