Super Junior's Heechul and IU donated to victims of the recent Gangwon Province wildfire.

On April 5, reports revealed Heechul donated 30 million Won ($26,360.42 USD) to help those affected by the wildfire through the organization 'Fruits of Love', and IU donated 100 million Won ($87,870.50 USD) through the 'Green Umbrella Children's Foundation'.

As Gangwon is Heechul's hometown province, he expressed, "I was very hurt seeing the wildfires spread around the Kangwon Province. I hope this becomes a bit of help to the locals." The 'Green Umbrella Children's Foundation' also stated, "IU has consistently donated to the children of low-income families and students, and after hearing the news of the fire, she donated 100 million Won. IU's donation of 100 million Won will go towards the children of low-income families, children living with elderly grandparents, and children with single parents who were affected by the fires."

Though the Gangwon Province wildfire has been put out, there was a large amount of property lost. One man in his 50s lost his life, while one other person suffered an injury.

It has now been confirmed that the highly anticipated SBS drama, 'Scarlet Heart: Ryeo,' starring so many top stars like IU, Lee Jun Ki, and Baekhyun, will be airing its very first episode on August 29!

It was revealed as much on May 6, along with the production crew revealing that the actors were diligently filming the drama, which will be 100% pre-recorded. The crew stated, "With the news that the air date is confirmed for the end of August by SBS, the atmosphere on set is even more warm and they are working harder to show a good drama."

SBS recently shared a few gorgeous still cuts of Lee Jun Ki and IU wearing traditional hanboks for drama, 'Scarlet Heart: Ryeo,' which is also known as 'Moon Lovers,' and is based on Chinese hit series, 'Scarlet Heart'!

Based on the stills, the cast is filming in a winter paradise -- otherwise known as Gangwon province. Though the area is near the DMZ, it's known to have some of South Korea's most spectacular landscapes.

Lee Jun Ki is in charge of playing Wang So, the fourth son of Taejo Wang Gun of Goryeo Dynasty. He lives imprisoned in his cold mask, but he takes this off thanks to Hae Soo...
