Super Junior's Heechul and IU donated to victims of the recent Gangwon Province wildfire.

On April 5, reports revealed Heechul donated 30 million Won ($26,360.42 USD) to help those affected by the wildfire through the organization 'Fruits of Love', and IU donated 100 million Won ($87,870.50 USD) through the 'Green Umbrella Children's Foundation'.

As Gangwon is Heechul's hometown province, he expressed, "I was very hurt seeing the wildfires spread around the Kangwon Province. I hope this becomes a bit of help to the locals." The 'Green Umbrella Children's Foundation' also stated, "IU has consistently donated to the children of low-income families and students, and after hearing the news of the fire, she donated 100 million Won. IU's donation of 100 million Won will go towards the children of low-income families, children living with elderly grandparents, and children with single parents who were affected by the fires."

Though the Gangwon Province wildfire has been put out, there was a large amount of property lost. One man in his 50s lost his life, while one other person suffered an injury.

(Billboard (the most respected music chart on the planet) picks Seo Taiji & ‪#‎IU‬'s collaboration the #2 best!)

2. Seo Taiji & IU - "Sogyeokdong"

Both the Korean rock legend and K-pop sweetheart dove into new sonic territory with this synth-pop spectacular. In a complex combination of sounds and emotions, IU's melancholy coos and honeyed harmonies detail South Korea's dictatorship days in the '80s amid Seo Taiji's symphonic storm of crunchy synthesizers. There's a lovely dreaminess to the track, but there's also a dark history in the lyrics and instrument choices."
