On the July 23 episode of 'Hyori's Bed and Breakfast', IU revealed that she was scared of Lee Hyori.
The segment began with Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon complimenting IU for working so hard, "If IU wasn't here, I think it would've been so hard and difficult. If she wasn't here I would be in the kitchen doing all the dishes alone again" said Lee Hyori while giving off a smile of relief. Lee Sang Soon followed, "She must be really tired too...she must be a little tense and nervous as well especially with the large age difference between her and us."
He continued while laughing, "She told me the last time she saw you was when you were promoting "Bad Girls" and that she was scared of you at the time because of the image. She didn't know you were like this." Lee Hyori replied, "I didn't know she was like this either. I thought she would be distant and reserved to herself but she feels like a neighborhood little sister. She's like a next door little sister who is very nice and genuine."

JYP Entertainment's J.Y. Park appeared on JTBC's 'Newsroom' on May 5 to talk about a variety of things, including IU, who auditioned for the agency, and EXID's Hani, who was a trainee.
J.Y. Park said in relation to losing these now successful ladies, "The timing was not right for their color or the direction they were going. If anything, it could be that they did well because they left."
In relation to being the oldest singer in first place, J.Y. Park said, "After being first place for two weeks, I've now come down. I was called the oldest. I don't know if I should be happy about that. When I debuted, I wanted to become a long-time singer more than a popular singer. I especially wanted to be a dance singer and in that regard, I am both proud and a bit scared as I wonder why it's only me [remaining as an older dance singer]."
