Singer-songwriter Jang Ki Ha was recently asked by the media whether the decision for his band to go with its first love-themed album release was influenced by his relationship with songstress IU.

Jang Ki Ha and his band, known as Kiha and the Faces, held their showcase on the 15th as they celebrated the release of their fourth studio album. As the frontman is also known to be currently in a relationship with female singer IU, he was asked whether their decision to release a love-themed album was due to her.

In response, Jang Ki Ha revealed that while some of the lyrics written were somewhat influenced by his personal experiences, he emphasizes that the lyrics of all ten tracks are fictional as he attempted to portray a universal and basic feelings of love.

He then adds, “In the past, we thought love songs were too cheesy, but now we felt ready to do love songs written in our own way. We challenged ourselves and made it into an album.”

Kiha and the Faces new album was released on June 16th.

On October 23 at 8:30 p.m. KST, iChart announced that IU’s new digital single, “Strawberry Moon,” had achieved a perfect all-kill.

A perfect all-kill means the song has topped the iChart weekly chart as well.

Raina appeared on SBS powerFM's 'Kim Chang Ryul's Old School' on December 15, where she talked about who she resembled and which star she wanted to meet.

When asked if she often heard she looked like somebody, she replied, "Because I'm round-faced, in early debut days, [I was told I looked liked] Shinji. When I take pictures, I hear once in a while that I look like IU. More than anything, I hear I look like a raccoon," making everyone laugh.

When asked which star she wanted to meet at least once, she replied, "Everybody's boyfriend, Kang Dong Won. I just want to see him once. I'm curious about how he looks in real life. I watched 'The Priests' recently and his visuals were so amazing that just looking at him caused the two hours to slip by."

Do you see her resemblance to Shinji or IU?

After not having an official release since her Flower Bookmark EP in 2014, solo artist IU made her long-awaited comeback with her newest music video “Twenty-Three.”

Utilizing the Alice In Wonderland concept hinted at through the teasers for the track, the LOEN Entertainment artist’s catchy track highlights the difficulty of transitioning from a girl to a woman.

Instead of addressing the topic in a serious tone, the popular singer utilizes silly scenes including a cake to the face to explain the confusion of growing up. IU’s self-written lyrics also make a point to relate her current situation...

Looks like Yoo Hee Yeol likes poking fun at the new couple!

On the recent episode of “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook” on October 16, Jang Ki Ha appeared as a guest. When Yoo Hee Yeol introduces Jang Ki Ha and the singer mentions his song “Let’s Meet Now,” the MC has a smile on his face.

Then Yoo Hee Yeol says, “People are saying let’s meet on Friday,” and teased Jang Ki Ha by referencing IU‘s “Friday.”

He continues, “I say this again, but ‘Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook’ airs on Fridays so let’s meet on Fridays.”

The audience immediately laughs at the sly reference.
