In a recent poll to find out which celebrities people most wanted in their passenger seat on the car ride back home for Lunar New Year, the nation’s MC, Yoo Jae Suk, was chosen as number one.

KBS Cool FM asked some 2,000 men and women which famous person they most desired to accompany them on their drive home. On February 14, the results revealed that Yoo Jae Suk received 7.7% of the total votes, making him the top choice.

Figure skater Kim Yuna followed for the second spot with 4.2% of the votes.

When looking at the voting differences by gender, the male voters’ results are as follows: Yoo Jae Suk (6.5%), IU (6%), and miss A’s Suzy (4.7%). On the other hand, female voters’ results displayed: Yoo Jae Suk (9.6%), Kim Yuna (4.7%), and Jay Park (1.8%).

Black Pink's Rose sent her love to IU on the July 5th installment of 'Weekly Idol'.

Jung Hyung Don and Defconn asked, "IU sent Rose a love call and said she wants to work with you. How do you feel?" Rose couldn't hold back her excitement, saying, "I found out because my dad sent a message in the family chat room. At first, I didn't believe it. I thought it was ridiculous."

She continued, "It's such an honor. I'll work hard and practice my singing in the future. I respect you."

One of the most highly recognized songstresses in South Korea is currently IU and many are looking forward to next comeback.

In a post published on online community board Pann, a netizen asked others which IU song they loved the most, commenting, “Link me to your favorite IU songs!!! I know they’re all good but could you give me one each!!?”

The original poster than goes to say that their favorite IU track is “Don’t Like Her.”

In a recent episode of Entertainment Weekly featuring Apink‘s Jung Eunji, her ranking among the many idol actresses was revealed to her as she expressed her shock.

Aired on October 3rd, the entertainment show held an interview with the Sassy, Go Go drama star where the interviewer said to her, “You took first place in a recent survey as the best idol actress. IU was in second, Suzy was in third place.”

Eunji could not contain her joy as she was told this as she smiled widely in happiness. “Really?” she said.
Sassy, Go Go is set to have its first episode air on October 5th.
