In light of the success of “Sogyeokdong”, Seo Taiji’s collaboration with IU, it has been confirmed that IU will be joining Seo Taiji in his comeback concert later this month.

After five years without releasing an album, Seo Taiji released his collaboration track with IU, “Sogyeokdong" which was an instant hit, ranking first in many of Korea’s major music charts.

Seo Taiji’s company announced that IU would be perfomring “Sogyeokdong" with Seo Taiji at his comeback concert ‘Christmalowin’ on October 18th at Seoul’s Jamsil Olympic Park.

The question that should on everyone’s mind, however, should be regarding IU’s presence and role during the performance of ”Sogyeokdong”, as the song was released in two separate versions with two separate music videos, IU’s part which was released on October 5th and Seo Taiji’s part which was released on October 9th.

Will the two sing the song as duet live? What do you think? MBC will air the concert, and Seo Taiji’s 9th album “Quiet Night” will be released on October 20th.

IU and hyukoh have gotten together for a live performance of "Gondry".

The singer and indie band originally collaborated for "Infinity Challenge", but they recently surprised a crowd at a cafe in Sangsudong, Seoul.

It seems there was no particular reason for the performance except the coming fall season. The above video reveals footage from their live song at the intimate venue.
