"I have a bad feeling, guys; Itsuki's never late." Haruhi looked worriedly out the window.
"I'm sure he'll be here soon." Mikuru assured as she brought a cup of hot chocolate, rather than her usual tea, to the worried Brigade cheif.
"I have no reason why your'e so concerned. You don't worry about anyone else!" Kyon argued.
"Kyon..." Mikuru warned.
"Oh, shut it, will you?" A slightly sick The Esper said. "Some chosen one you are." Lauren agreed. "You're so mean, Kyon!" Scolded Konata.
Over all the arguement, Yuki sat there, reading her book. She looked up at everyone.

Itsuki had been easily tired these days. He fought, studied, and worked hard all week, and saw coming for meetings for the SOS Brigade as a good opportunity to get some sleep.

"How long has he been sleeping?" Haruhi asked. "Since he came in." Kyon answered. "Wait, why do you care?!"
The Brigade leader blushed. "I don't!" She looked down at the esper. I've never noticed how Koizumi looks so...cute when he's sleeping... Haruhi blushed deeper.
Of course, I've never tell him that!
Feeling her face go hot, she touched his cheek.
"H-hey....Koizumi...I'll be waiting...when you wake up." She kissed his lips softly.
"I..." She gulped. "Love you..."

"Wh-what happened?" Itsuki woke with a start. He saw Haruhi sitting next to her, fast asleep. I should take her home. Scooping her up in his arms, Itsuki kissed Haruhi's cheek.
"Sleep tight, Miss Suzumiya."

It was a quiet day in the clubroom, me and Kyon were playing checkers, Mikuru was watching, again, Yuki was reading, as usual, and Haruhi had yet to arrive.
Mikuru looked out the window.
"I wonder where Suzumiya-san is..."
Kyon sighed. "She probably got detention for the first time or something. It's about time anyway."
Mikuru tapped her chin.
I smiled to myself. Haruhi was always up to something, wasn't she?
Suddenly, the door flew open and in she stepped.
She looked happy, which was good. She smiled and sat down by Mikuru.
"Thank god, school's almost over!" She said as she streachted....

I looked around. We were alone in the dining room, and no one seemed to be walking by. I look at Itsuki. He looks more nervous that I have ever seen him.
What should I do? What should I say?
My mind's gone blank!
"I don't really know what I'm doing here right now...but the reason we're both here is because we have something to tell each other, right?"
Koizumi looked up at me. "I-I agree..."
"And...uh, we shouldn't keep it all bottled up..."
The crazy thing is, the more I talk, the better I feel. I think I can tell him now.

I hoped from my bed and got dressed quickly. I just remembered that Kyon told me to call Haruhi. He was holding a party at his house tonight. I ran to my phone and dialed her number.
"Hey Haruhi! Guess what, Kyon's invited the brigade to a Huge Obese Fantastic Home Bash, including me and The Esper...."
"Oh wow! How unlike him... but sure we'll be there! Is it okay if Tsuruya and Ryoko come too?"
I laughed. "I'm sure he won't mind two more girls over at his house."
Haruhi sighed. "I know. He's so driven by good looks! Well, see you there!"
"Bye!"
I closed my phone and put it back in...

As the others unpacked and chatted, I engaged in another "observation" of Miss Suzumiya. I know by doing this, I look like a fanboy, but sometimes I can't help staring at her beauty.
Yes, I said beauty.
"You like the wallpaper, Itsuki?" Yumi came in with a tray of food on the table.
"Ah-Yes! It's well designed." I reply. I can see Haruhi looking at us. My face grows hot and red again.

~Haruhi's POV~
I'm really excited about this trip. Even if we're doing nothing right now, I'm sure we'll have some fun!
"This is some good food, Yumi!" I said, taking a bite of the steak she prepared...

Mikuru's sister... was different.
She was always trying to be nice to me, and talking to me. She didn't really like Haruhi, but that's her problem. I knew I really shouldn't be thinking about her... when she was walking right next to me.
She ran up to me, while I was walking home.
"So yeah, that's it!" She proclaimed.
She'd just finished telling me about her favorite movie, but I really wasn't listening.
"It sounds interesting." I lied.
She stopped and grabbed my shoulder. She looked at me sternly.
"What is it?" I asked, angerly.

Okay, I'm telling you right now, this is nowhere near as good as Lauren-san's..trust me. And this is based on the episode Remote Island Syndrome, but doesn't stay true to the plot of the actual episode.

~Itsuki's POV~
After talking with Kyon, I stood on the dock to watch Miss Suzumiya. I know I seem like a stalker, but there are sometimes when I just find myself staring at her for long periods of time. But if she ever found out about that, I'd be so embarrassed.
"Hey, Koizumi! We're gonna go play Old Maid!" Kyon's sister called, tugging my shirt. "What are you doing, anyway?"

It was cold outside, the wind carressing the trees. It was then that Kyon, along with new girlfriend Mikuru, decided to leave. Yuki had left two hours before. The only ones lingering were Haruhi and Koizumi, who were watching a movie about a magical necklace. It was intresting to them; to Kyon it was unessecarily dramatic, to Yuki it was "overly reactive", and to Mikuru it was just plain scary.

"OMG!! Noooooo!! ALL MY HALLUCIANTIONS ARE COMING TRUE!! IT'S THE...THE...GIANT STARBUCKS CUP!"
Haruhi burst out laughing. "Starbucks?! How dumb. This movies good, but it has really bad acting." "Really?...

Christmas Crisis

It was pouring rain the night the SOS Brigade was waiting for Haruhi and Kyon to arrive. We were all sitting at the fountain in the mall. The plan was to go shopping for clothes to wear at the christmas party we were going to in two hours. It was about eight p.m., and they still hadn't come. I was starting to worry if something was wrong.

I looked up and saw Miss Asahina looking at me.
"Don't worry about Suzumiya-san, she's probably fine" She smiled.
"I hope so..." I sighed.
Suddenly, my phone buzzed.
"Excuse me for a moment," I said to Yuki and Mikuru.

The Moment On The Roof

~Haruhi's POV~
"No one's gonna catch us, really!" I said to Itsuki as I dragged us upstairs to the roof of the school. "Besides, everyone's busy in class."
By te time we arrived on the roof, the clouds had started to collide. We could see the whole place, the fields, the hill, even the park from there.
"So," I began. "You like it?" "Of course. As long as I'm with you, any place is heaven." Itsuki replied.
I smiled at him, then turned to watch the thundering clouds.

I was running down the hall, pushing myself to get to the clubroom as fast as possible. I finally reached the door and burst threw it.
"EVERYONE! WE'RE GOING TO MAKE A MUSIC VIDEO!" I shouted as soon as I got inside.
"A music video? Haruhi, can any of us even play an instrument?" Kyon sighed as he sipped some of Mikuru's tea.
"Pft, Yuki and I can play guitar! Remember? And Mikuru can play the tamborine!" I looked at Itsuki and Kyon and crossed my arms.

"Everyone!" Haruhi burst through the doors of the SOS Brigade clubroom. Everyone looked over at her in surprise.
"I just got an idea! Let's make pictures for...the SOS Brigade Art Gallery!"
