it was the next morning and inuyasha went outside to check on keida. he went on the roof. she was gone. "oh great" inuyasha said. he jumped down and begain to look for her. mean while, keida was up and walked far away from the village she ended up at her burned village. she walked into her old hut and hit the floor. her fever went up and she had no one to take care of it.

"keida, keida where are you" inuyasha yelled. he ended up in the forest by the well. he walked over to the well and jumped in. when he got to kagome's world he jumped out of the well and raced out of the shrine. he went through the house trying to find kagome. he walked up the stairs and opened the door to kagome's room. kagome was in her bed asleep. "kagome?" he said he sat down next to her bad. "kagome?" he repeated. "inu....yasha?" she anwsered. she opened her eyes. she saw inuyasha right beside her and she sat up. "what is it inuyasha?" she asked. " keida's gone." he told her. " what! what happened to her?" she said in a very worried voice. kagome shot out of bed and grabbed her clothes. she ran to her bathroom and inuyasha said " she had a fever last night. she went out on the roof and this morning she wasnt there." kagome came out and went to her closet. " how did she get the fever?" she said while grabbbing a few things and stuffing them into her backpack.
"she went to the river. she took of her bandage and went swimming. thats all that happened up intil the fever." he said. they walked down stairs and grabbed some food and headed to the shrine. 'she probably got the fever that way.' kagome thought. they went to the well. " you ready?" inuyasha asked."yes" she said back. inuyasha grabbed kagome and jumped in.


when they got back they ran to keade's village.
kagome was so worried about keida.inuyasha grabbed kagome." i can smell her scent. she went this way." inuyasha said. kagome got on his back and they searched the grounds. they ended up at keida's village. inuyasha went to the ground and let kagome go. they split up and scearched all the huts. kagome went passed a hut but something cought her eye. *gasp* she ran back and looked in the hut." keida!!!" kagome said. " INUYASHA" she screamed. she took off her backpack and grabbed keida and held her in her arms. inuyasha came in and sat down beside kagome. inuyasha felt her forehead. her fever was getting worse. he took her out of kagomes hands. kagome stood up. they walked out of the hut and walked until they found a river to sit by and cool down her fever. kagome rusted back tin the hut and grabbed her bag. she cought up with inuyasha. inuyasha sat down with keida in his arms while kagome went to get water for keida. kagome came back with two water bottles full and two rags out of her backpack. kagome wet the one rag with water and handed the rag to inuyasha. he put the rag on her fore head. they both repeated it untill the sun went down. inuyasha stood up and carried keida to keida's village. kagome stood next to him. untill they got to the village. as soon as kagome saw keade she ran over to her and asked if she could get keida a cold bath for her fever. they both left to the bath room and started it up.

while inuyasha was waiting for the bath was ready for keida he kept a nice cold rag on her forehead. kagome came in with her swim suit on. inuyasha got up and walked to the bath room. when they reached the cold tub inuyasha handed keida over to her and walked out. kagome looked back at the door when it closed. she walked in the water and gently sat down. she covered keida's mouth and nose with her hand. kagome held her breath and went under water. kagome opened her eyes. she could see keida. she came back up. and held keida close to her heart. 'please be ok keida please' she thought. keida's fever went down a little. but still havent waken up. kagome began to cry. she was so upset that keida wouldnt wake up. she wanted to hear her voice. she loved keida as her own child. "please wake up keida please wake up!" kagome said but alas it didnt help. an hour passed and it was getting late. kagome got out of the tub along with keida. kagome put keida on the floor and got two towels. she dired her self off and rapped one towel around keida. she walked out the door and went to the hut. inuyasha waited up to see if the cold bath worked.

kagome walked into the hut. inuyasha was barly awake at the time but once kagoem came though that door he sprang up to see if keida woken up. kagome walked up to him and she handed him keida.
"we'll have to wait until morning to she if she gets any better." a sad expresstion went across her face as she said it. inuyasha said nothing. inuyasha sat down and fell asleep. in the middle of the night inuyasha moved and keida wasin his arms. keida opened her eyes.
