Part20-Hokkaido no Fubuki

"We're finally here!!!!"
Raimon chu soccer club filed out of the Inazuma Caravan into the cold snow of Hokkaido. After a long trip to the coldest place in Japan, the team was glad to finally get off of the bus. Well, except for a select few that exited the bus like icicles and sneezed the whole there.
"I wonder what the Blizzard no Fubuki is like," Endou said.
"I guess we'll just have to find out," Kazemaru answered.
Someoka grunted.
"I bet he's not as great as everyone says he is."
"Well, I guess we have to go and find out," Aki repeated.
Someoka looked at her and turned away. Aki knew that he wasn't looking forward to a knew player, especially because Gouenji had just been taken off of the team. In Someoka's mind, no one could replace Raimon's Ace Striker, but for now, Raimon needed stronger team mates.
Aki stood there and wondered what Satsuki was doing at that moment. She would be crushed when she heard that Gouenji was taken off of the team and at the same time, missing. Gouenji was like a big brother to her.
"Kino-san!!!!" Haruna called.
The team was already entering the gates of the school. Aki snapped out of her thoughts and ran to catch up with the group.
As if Someoka and Gouenji weren't the only problems happening with Raimon. The new kantoku, Kira Hitomiko's commands and decisions were tearing the team apart. She was a strange person, always silent and serious. Nobody knew where she came from or why she had replaced Hibiki-kantoku, but everyone had to deal with it.

Everyone was silent as they entered the school. There footsteps echoing as they walked through the halls. Just before they arrived at the Haruken Chu Soccer Club room, Hitomiko kantoku's cellphone rang.
There was a muffled voice on the other end of the line and then Hitomiko answered.
"Okay, give us 20 minutes," she replied into the phone.
There was another muffled remark and Hitomiko nodded and closed the phone.
"Who was that, kantoku?" Endou asked.
Hitomiko ignored him and looked toward Furukabe-san, who was following the rest of the team near the back of the group.
"I'll leave it to you, Furukabe-san," she said.
He nodded, turned, and walked back outside to the Caravan.
"Kantoku? Where is Furukabe-san going?" Kazemaru asked this time.
Again, Hitomiko ignored the question and knocked on a door labeled "Soccer Club".
A short girl with a traditional wooden hat slid open the door. Her eyes lit up almost instantly as she realized who they were.
"RAIMON CHU!!!!" she yelled.
In the background, chairs and desks screeched on the floor as members of the Hakuren team stood up.
The little girl moved out from in front of the door and Raimon Chu Soccer Club entered.

Satsuki walked out of the bustling airport and into the freezing air, wearing a dark long sleeve shirt and her Raimon pants. She put down her bag and took in her surroundings to find that everything was covered in layers of snow, something she had missed in her nine years away from this area.
Satsuki breathed in the cold, clean air and felt a pang a sadness. Memories of her best friends, Fubuki and Atsuya, overwhelmed her, causing her to grab a hold of a pole before she toppled into the snow.
"Was it right to come here," she thought,"Did I make the right choice?"
Satsuki steadied herself and looked at her necklace.
"Issho," it read. (together)
"I wish all three of us were still together," Satsuki thought with a sigh.
She wasn't going to act like this in front of the team. She was there to help defeat the aliens, not to act all depressed.
But still, as she stood there, Satsuki couldn't help looking at the sky, while letting loose tears, and saying,"I'm back."

A few minutes later, a large blue caravan arrived at the airport. Satsuki's mouth dropped as she realized that, that was her ride. Raimon had greatly improved their style of transportation. As she got on the bus, Satsuki thanked Furukabe-San for picking her up. He kindly smiled and offered the seat next to him.
As, the Caravan pulled away from the airport, he began a conversation.
"Satsuki-san, you've been here before, I've heard."
Satsuki slowly nodded.
"My mother lives here," she bluntly replied.
Satsuki didn't want to give off too much information. Nobody needed to know about her past.
Furukabe continued the conversation.
"We will be here more than a couple of days, maybe Hitomiko kantoku will let you visit her."
Satsuki again nodded.
They drove in silence for awhile. Satsuki looked outside and started to recall every place they past, especially the soccer field that she, Fubuki, and Atsuya had often played on.She was truly in her natural home now, but as the time grew longer, a question was still held at the back of her mind.
"Furukabe-san? Why ARE we in Hokkaido?"
He seemed to be taken aback by this question.
"Hitomiko didn't tell you?" Satsuki shook her head. Furukabe hesitated.
"Maybe it's best that we wait. She must have had a reason for not telling you. She always does."
Satsuki gave him a questioning look, but got no answer. She began to fidget with her gloves and wondered to herself as they turned into the parking lot of Hakuren Chu.

Satsuki was excited to see everyone again, with the exception of Kazemaru. She was more nervous to see him after what had happened at the airport. As Furukabe-san led her closer to the Hakuren Soccer room, she began to hear the voices of her teammates, as well as the Hakuren team.
Satsuki breathed in, knocked once on the door, and opened it. The moment the door slid open, everyone in the room went quiet. Nobody said anything for awhile, until finally someone spoke.
"Satsuki?" the familiar voice of Kazemaru asked.
She spotted him in the crowd of people,  tilted her head to the side, and smiled.
All at once, the Raimon team yelled her name in astonishment. As she laughed, everyones eyes looked toward her ankle. Nearly forgetting about her injury, she lifted her right pant-leg and showed her bare ankle.
Everyone was happy to see her in full strength and greeted her over. As Kazemaru came toward her, she jumped up and gave him a hug. He was a bit surprised and a little embarrassed but returned her hug. Aki, Ichinose, and Domon came over and huddled into a group hug.
"I guess your father let you come," Domon said.
Satsuki nodded and joyfully remembered the note her father had given her.
As she looked around for familiar faces, she noticed that she did not spot Gouenji or Someoka's.
"Where's my Ni-san," Satsuki wondered.
She would ask about them later.
Satsuki said hello to Kurimatsu and Kabeyama.
"Satsuki-san? How are you not cold wearing such a thin long-sleeved shirt," Kabeyama asked after sneezing several times.
Satsuki laughed.
"At one point in my life, I've lived here. I don't really find it that cold."
"Lucky," Kurimatsu replied with an additional sneeze.
The whole room broke out in laughter.

As everyone started to settle down, Satsuki asked the main question.
"So, now can someone tell me why we're here?"
"Oh, you don't know?" Endou asked.
Satsuki shook her head.
Everyone looked at their kantoku, who merely looked away.
He grabbed her wrist and led her through the crowd of people towards the window.
Satsuki turned her head and gave Kazemaru a questioning look. He gestured his head towards the windows, reassuring her that there was a reason that they were in Hokkaido.
As Endou stopped, Satsuki turned her head to see a person standing by the windows.
Almost immediately, Satsuki's eyes grew big and the room started to spin. The person in front of her couldn't have been the person who she thought he was. It was just impossible.
"Grey hair, kind Grayish-Blue eyes, and a gentle aura," she thought woozily. "But that's impossible, he's supposed to be dead..."
Images, no...., memories of her past, both good and bad, flooded into Satsuki's mind as the boy standing in front of her smiled sweetly and outstretched his hand for a hand-shake. Obviously, he did not remember Satsuki, but she remembered him. That sweet smile had never changed.
Endou started to introduce him...
"Satsuki, this is Hakuren Chu Soccer Clubs captain, Fubuki Shirou and we came here to..."
As he continued to talk; his voice sounded like an echo to Satsuki. She put her hands up to her head, alarming Fubuki, as her body began to shake and she started to feel dizzier.
Kazemaru put a hand on Endou's shoulder to stop him. He noticed that Satsuki had started to sway back and forth.
"Satsuki, are you alright?" he asked.
She turned her head a little towards him and showed signs of tears in her eyes.
"K-Kazemaru...."
Satsuki's eyes shut and her knees gave way as she fainted forward. With amazing speed, Fubuki caught Satsuki in mid-air, just before she could hit the ground.Fubuki slowly lay her down on the ground, supporting her head by propping it in his lap.
HFor a moment, her eyes fluttered open again. She looked into the gentle eyes of someone she had known once, long ago. Tears flowed out of her eyes and  down her cheeks with disbelief.
"Fubuki? Is that really you?" she asked in a small voice that only he could hear as she slowly lost consciousness.

How was it everyone!? Hope you guys enjoy!!!

Part18-Goodbye for Now

A blinding light of the morning sunshine peeked through the drapes of a window and clouded Satsuki's mind with confusion as she woke up from a long and restless sleep. She looked around and saw that she was in a room she had never been in before, a hospital room.
Satsuki suddenly started to panic. "Why am I in here?"
Pain surged up through her body as she struggled to sit up. She started to remember what had happened the day before. That terrible day when the aliens attacked.
"So it really did happen."
Her heart filled with sadness as she remembered that there was no...
