What happened to Heather (Ted's sister?

i was rewatching old epis and just watched the episode where Heather wants to live in NYC and Ted signs her lease- only we never see her again.
I fail to remember what the heck happened. Does anyone know?

i find this bothersome..she was applying for jobs, got an appartment and then BOOM- nossing? they usually do so well with this stuff!

I just saw the episode and this is one of the few mistakes the show made because 1) his sister DID get the job at Barney's bank; 2) Ted signed the lease for her apartment - and then you never hear or see her again. I agree that they should have never had her get hired and never have Ted sign the lease because it just makes no sense....
I want to know why Amazon has 5 "never aired" episodes you can stream...
