Mayfield just ended up being really cool and it seems from the previews that next week will be horribly upsetting and harsh and Cuddy is a bitch even worse.

i LOVED mayfield, mostly just the interaction between house and the patients and just the patients themselves. i love how this was done and i wish we could have a little more of it

I agree with numbers... we already talked about this and agreed that each one will respect one's ship.

anyway, I love the place and I love how H interacts with his new friends there but again.. you know what I hate bout it guys so I won't repeat it again. =)

It was refreshing to see House out in the world - AWAY from the
usual cast of characters and responsibilites, even though it was
no vacation. It does demonstrate how Hugh Laurie holds down
the fort by force of his personality and acting skills. I didn't miss
the PP hospital at all - and wish he would continue with his own
adventures for half the season, only showing snipets of the others.
They explored Lydia in more emotional depth in the premiere than
they have revealed Cuddy in 5 seasons. HOUSE the show runs a risk
in coupling up too many of the main characters - 13/Foreman, Chase/Cam...which is why Lydia was a welcome change of pace, as was the director of Mayfield.
I don't want to go back to PP just yet.

The premier was so brilliant and entertaining, it could have lasted forever without me getting bored. That said, when I saw the promo I realized how much I missed Cuddy and PPTH, so I'm also pretty glad we're going back next episode to the old familiar PPTH.

No, the episode was epic, but one episode is enough since the purpose of Mayfield was House's journey to recovery. More episodes would ruin it. The show is about medicine as well as House's character, we need to get back to the medical misteries.

I agree with you guys too (^) but I would like to see how everyones doing while we still see a recovered House and Medical mysteries. Maybe one of the mayfield peeps becomes a patient something like that

Since it was a double length episode, I can deal, but I wouldn't mind one more episode. :)
