So I've been thinking about this spoiler for a while now, and I still have to say I'm not happy about it, because this is the only reason, besides the writers caving to certain fans, that I can think of why Cuddy would pick Cameron.

If she really is thinking about Cameron because she wants to protect House, its a really weak reason...because Cameron can't run a hospital, she's not that type of character....

Anyways, I'd love to here everyone's thoughts on the matter.

They are just trying there best to intergrate Cameron back into the fold--even though I personally dnt care for Cameron's whiny character or Chase's morose attitude. They were fun in the beginning but in S4 and S5 they both became boring to me.

I really can't see any plausible reasons for why Cuddy would choose Cameron to become the "acting Dean". Please, Cameron fans, don't take offense, but i don't think she's ready to handle this kind of job and throughout the seasons the relationship between Cuddy and Cameron has never really been shown to be that strong, because it seems like they both don't have that high opinions of each other.
This move is so completely out of the blue for Cuddy to do. It seems as though it is just a poorly constructed way to get Cameron more screentime.
And yes, if it wasn't clear already, i do HATE this spoiler so much..

I agree with PG. I think this is just a cheap way to give Cameron more screentime (no offense to Cameron fans). Of course, this is only just temporary, so I guess we'll just have to live with it until Cuddy comes back. :/

Btw, i did kind of lose any semblance of cool i had about this spoiler when i saw that bit in the trailer where Cameron seemed to have taken it upon herself to dress EXACTLY like Cuddy does. The spazzing over on this side was not pretty..

i think its exactly as OM says. Cuddy doesn't have any reason to hire Cameron other than the fact that everyone knows that Cameron would never fire House and any other person in the hospital who could keep accounting might. Cuddy wants House in the job whatever for various reasons. Lets just go with the fact she has always protected im because he saves lives.

I can't think of a real reason for her to choose Cameron. Oh well, we all know noone can do the job like Cuddy...also noone can put up with House like Cuddy can. So let's hope it's only for an episode or two.

I really can't think of a real reason for her to pick Cameron (though I love Cam), but this one seems like it'd fit the best, I suppose. Cuddy's always looking out for House, and she knows Cameron wouldn't fire him.

I never thought of this before. It does make a lot of sense. Anyone else and he'll be gone in a heartbeat. (not a normal heartbeat, like I'm talking about one juiced up on amphetamines)

I am really pissed about this spoiler, and I definitely think it is a ploy to give Cam more screentime. I think if Cuddy wanted someone for the job who wouldn't fire House, she should have chosen Wilson, or even Foreman. Wilson is definitely more qualified to run the hospital than Cameron. The only bright side is that this is temporary, I'm hoping this lasts about 3/4 of an ep and it is proved Cam can't do it (no offense to Cam fans, but I really don't think she will be able to maintain the job for more than one episode).

Also, PG when I noticed Cam wearing that shirt in the previews I flipped out...not in a good way.

I was thinking the episode living the dream. If you remember the scene when she was asking all of them to help her with House's papers. She is good at that kind of stuff

Remember, we only see a few aspects of Cuddy's job-mostly the dealing with House. Cameron seems like she would be good at the paperwork and phone stuff. As for dealing with House, maybe this ep is a way to show us that she has gotten stronger and can stand up to House now. Guess we'll have to wait.

Not the perfect match, but good enough, and she was, but like Cameron pointed out, Cuddy is the perfect one for the terrible job that is employing House :P
