Not a sign and not even infections, just problems with the pregnency itself may cause blood in urine. And I keep talking about it because I absolutely don't want to believe it may be just another illness of one of the leading characters. It'd be so predictable and boring, how many times you can repeat one thread? Especially now, after Cuddy's mom being sick. I can't be 100% sure it's not a real script. Maybe it is. I just hope it's not.

caramelmilk Hm care to elaborate? I'm not asking this to annoy you, I am truly interested in medical stuff and also in making theories about upcoming episodes. I've looked on my favorite "symptoms" site when this came up and among all the causes of bloody urine not a single one mentioned pregnancy. I'm hoping for cancer :) That way it wouldn't be a single-episode thing and it would get us some awesome OT3 /Wuddy scenes too- since Wilson is the boy wonder oncologist.

Aivi Maybe the blood didn't necessarily come from her urinary bladder. She could be mistaken it as a blood coming from her uterus, like when you're havig a period and it seems like you pee blood. Cuddy is probably shocked, she saw blood in her toilet. She could be mistaken.

Aivi That's why I said that she's shocked. She just woke up, House freaked the shit out of her... I'm not saying it HAS to be it, but there are lots of factors we should consider. Maybe she saw bits of blood when she wiped the pee, maybe... She saw it inside the toilet. She also says "blood in my urine." It could be many things. We just have to wait for more information.

xxmelisaxx Or... there is no blood in her urine at all, and she's just taking her revange on House, for frightening her. And that would be best of all, though I don't think they'd make a whole treaser to show something like that, it'd rather be somewhere during the episode.

Blood in the urine can come from any condition that results in infection, inflammation, or injury to the urinary system. Typically, microscopic hematuria indicates damage to the upper urinary tract (kidneys), while visible blood indicates damage to the lower tract (ureters, bladder, or urethra). But this is not always the case. The most common causes in people younger than 40 years of age are kidney stones or urinary tract infections.
