Hey everyone, EL here! I was just looking at the linkby PotterGal, and it got me to thinking: what do we know about our favorite doctors? This got me to going to Wikipedia to research the back stories on the entire cast of House, which I have compiled here, in one neatly-packaged soapbox article! :D!
So enjoy.
NOTE: This article covers what happens to the characters before the show started. Amber's death, Cuddy's frequent dates, and Hector, etc, will not be in this. Just...so you know.
GREGORY HOUSE:
Born June 11, 1959 (he's 49! dang!) to Blythe House and a random stranger whose name we do not know, though we do know he is a friend of the family. Blythe was married to John House, who was in the military, so House (that's how we'll be referring to him from now on, not Greg) had to move a lot when he was younger. He was abused by his father, who made him sit in ice baths and sleep on the lawn. He knew he wanted to be a doctor when he was fourteen and lived in Japan when he saw the respect given to a Buraku who solved a case no other doctor could solve. He earned his undergraduate degree at Johns Hopkins University and studied medicine at its medical school. He was caught cheating by Weber/Von Lieberman and was kicked out, after which he went to University of Michigan, where he met and had a one night stand with Lisa Cuddy. Ten years before the show began, he entered into a relationship with Stacy Warner, a lawyer who shot him during a paintball match. They lived together for five years, but then House had an infarction in his left thigh muscle. He blamed his pain on Stacy, who left him.
LISA CUDDY:
We don't know when she was born, only that she's in her forties and is younger than House. Both of her parents are still alive and she has a younger sister. She wanted to be a doctor since she was twelve. She graduated from medical school when she was 25 at second-best in her class. She became the youngest woman Dean of Medicine ever at the age of 32.
JAMES WILSON:
His birthday is also unknown. He has three brothers, one of whom is homeless and hasn't seen Wilson in twelve years, as far as we know. He has am undergraduate degree from McGill University, and higher degrees from Columbia and the University of Pennsylvania. He has been married and divorced three times, similar to Friends's Ross Geller.
ROBERT CHASE:
We don’t know his birthday, but we do know that as of season five, episode four, he is 33. He was born to Rowan Chase and his wife, whose name we don’t know. Rowan left his wife and son when Chase was a teenager, forcing Chase to take care of his alcoholic mother for five years until she died. He attended seminary school, but dropped out.
ALLISON CAMERON:
Birthday and parents unknown. Cameron was a medical intern at the Mayo Clinic, and was one of the top students in her class in medical school. She has an older brother. When she was 21, she fell in love with and married a man with thyroid cancer, Joe. The marriage only lasted six months because the cancer metastasized to his brain.
ERIC FOREMAN:
Born to Rodney and Alicia Foreman, Foreman has one younger brother, Marcus, who is in jail for drug charges. When he was sixteen he broke into a house and stole several cars, which resulted in his ending up in. He attended Columbia as an undergraduate before matriculating to Johns Hopkins Medical School. His academic performance was impressive, as he mentioned in the pilot he had a 4.0 GPA through medical school.
LAWRENCE KUTNER:
When he was six years old, Kutner’s parents were murdered in a store that his family owned. He was moved to foster care, where he was adopted by a white family when he was nine. He holds the world record for crawling twenty miles.
CHRIS TAUB:
Taub left the field of plastic surgery after he had an affair with a nurse and his partners said they would only keep quiet if he left. He attempted suicide in his youth.(Wow. We know, like…nothing about him. xDD)
REMY “THIRTEEN” HADLEY:
Thirteen inherited the Huntington’s Disease gene from her mother, who died of it. She is bisexual.
Well, that’s it! If you guys know anything I might have missed, please comment on it and I’ll be glad to edit the article and add it in!
So enjoy.

That bitch doesn’t know who she’s messing with. Well she’s messing with me. Lisa Cuddy. Dean of Medicine. Her boss. Allison Cameron has no clue. I thaught she was over House. I guess not. What nerve! Chase is a decent man. He deserves better than Cameron. I’ll show her. I’ll just walk right up to her and ask her if she loves House. Not that I’m jealous or anything. I’m just…shit! I’m jealous. House won’t fall for her anyways…I don’t think…SHIT! Now I have to talk to him. It’s hard work loving an egotistical asshole!
Why these people cannot get cut off..
> Cuddy- Lisa renewed her contract, Huddy sex, Her baby she just got this season, no reason to cut her off.
>House-....Kinda obvious why HOUSE can't get cut off the show named HOUSE!!
> Wilson- He is supposed to get some romance, Robert renewed his contract, His brother kinda just got introduced, no reason to get cut off
>Chase- Jesse renewed his contract, him and cameron got a big role in season 6, no reason to cut him off he hasn't had any screen time lately
>Cameron- Jennifer renewed her contract, Her and Chase have a big role in season 6, no reason to cut her off.
>Thirteen- it says no one we would expect but ehh idk
>Kutner- why cut him off???
Taub - i really think it is him...
he is miserable, he is losing money which leads to suicide, he didn't renew his contract
Foreman- i have no clue about him but they can't since her renewed his contract also
