misanthrope86 I'm a fan of the show and I care about Thirteen and I love how the writers write for her. So please remember that your views do not reflect every fans views. You can speak on behalf of yourself, but not of all other fans. I love Thirteen as a character and I think Olivia Wilde is a fantastic actress, so I while I don't agree with your reasons for giving her a spin off, I would very much like to watch her in her own show. Will never happen though.

somuchfordepth In my opinion, the 13 character intimidates some people, which explains why many people express their unfavorable opinions about her. she's sure of herself and she doesn't even bow down to House, which I think ticks some people off. Her character was created to compliment with House's character, as with every other character on the show. Please don't hate, we are all fans of the same show here.

oldmovie This spot is a spot for all House fans, those that like 13 and those that don't and I although you may not like 13, there are many fans here that do. I think you should think carefully before you post something that disregards characters so much. Imagine if someone wrote an article about how much they hate Huddy, I'm assuming from your icon that you like them a lot, wouldn't you be hurt and angry? Remember there are a whole host of fans here who love different parts about the show and you need to be respectful of their opinions. I would recommend deleting this article.

hughday Excuse me but i think everyone is entitled to an opinion positive or negative and as someone who has been a stalwart fan from season 1 i think i am within my rights to voice them. I dislike the path the show is taking, the plots don't gel anymore and it resembles a soap rather than the brilliant medical drama i fell in love with. Plus i object strongly to a cardboard cut out who has one expression for ever scene and situation she is in getting more airtime than anyone else including House himself.

lovehugh Exactly ..hughday . just watching a repeat from season 3 ..its like a different show , I have also watched from day one ..THE PILOT ... have all the boxed sets , but this show has completely changed course over the last two seasons , and it seems to me its all to do with accomodating screen time as a showcase for Olivia Wilde ,it is very rare now that the episode does'nt reflect her character , to see Lisa for about 4 secs on Monday night was a travesty when you consider Olivia's screen time AGAIN ... it was'nt supposed to be about her , we have been down that road sevreal times already , how many more episodes are going to be devoted to her character ...

8canadiana8 I think what oldmovie was saying was that while its true that everyone has the right to share their opinion...those who are fans of 13 don't really appreciate it when people make blanket statements about fans of the show not liking her. Comments like: Well hate to break it to you House writers, We don't give a damn..." are bothersome, because the person stating this is implying that NONE of the "House" fans give a damn about her character...when in reality, this is just this person's opinion. Now, I know that MANY people share that opinion, but MANY people also like the character of 13, and we just don't like it when people imply that we don't.

oldmovie ^^ I completely understand if you don't like 13's character and you have every right to say that, its the tone of the article that bothers me and why I suggested it be deleted. Its extremely offensive and makes people who do like 13 feel awkward and might even make them feel uncomfortable coming here, I know I've felt that way on certain websites on the internet where they've bashed Cuddy and Lisa Edelstein constantly. We want to keep all of the fans here, the ones that like 13 and the ones that don't. The spot should be a place where all fans can come and express their opinions without having to feel that someone is going to bash them for their thoughts. This includes character bashing, which I believe is what this article is actually about. Its not a well thought out explanation about why they dislike 13, its just a rant that essentially alienates other people. I've only just begun warming up to 13 and I was one of the first to admit that I didn't really enjoy her character last season, but this article doesn't say "hey, I wish 13 had a little less screentime because I'm not a huge fan of her" it says "hey I hate her and she sucks, can she have a spin off so that I never have to see her again" see the difference?

misanthrope86 Well, I guess ignoring the Thirteen hate in this article, I am just pretty annoyed that thewaa13 is trying to speak to the writers on behalf of all fans. She says "we don't give a damn" and "we have enough of those thank you" and "stop trying to push her down our throats". Lots of people do not agree with her on this and therefore she does not speak on behalf of all fans. These are her own personal opinions, and while others may share those opinions, many others do not and so she cannot say that "we" want Thirteen to not be shoved down "our" throats. Aside from the disrespectful way she has shared her opinion, I take issue with her speaking on behalf of fans when she clearly does not represent us all.

somuchfordepth when you like something, it becomes a part of who you are. that is why i understand how the others here (me included) feel offended by the message. we can relate to that character and it doesn't feel right hearing people say that they want them off the show. not liking a certain shipping is very much different from wanting the character out of the show. not liking a character is different from wanting them out of the show too. it just doesn't seem fair.

And comments under that shows that she has a lot of supporters, so I think you're overreacting.
