House stopped and didn’t bother to make any sound.

House gave a sigh and pushed himself to walk. Wilson and Pitt’s eyes grew bigger at the sight of him.

Wilson stammered as Pitt acted like was searching for something. House looked at them in much suspicion.

Wilson and Pitt exchanged quick glances.
Wilson: I have a patient… I think I’m falling in love with her…
House looked at him and Pitt did the same as he swallowed some laughter that were about to burst.

Wilson: Yah… Her name’s… Princess and ----

Pitt: House, you’ve been undergoing therapy and mental treatment for the past few days ----

House held himself back before he said the word, “fine” because he knew he isn’t but then…

House lost words and the two gentlemen before him looked at him.

House turned his back and pushed himself to another brisk walk, more like a run actually, that caused him pain that he tried to hide. He stopped in midway and Wilson got up on his feet.

He made a quick glance to his friend before leaving the room while hiding the pain that’s starting up.
It was already noon when Cuddy made her way to her office. Foreman was there in her office waiting for her to hand her the patient’s file. She was a little bit in a hurry with hair in a little mess too. He looked at her as she slammed her briefcase and keys on her desk.
Foreman: Are you okay?
Cuddy: Yes --- What’d you got there?
Foreman: Patient’s file. ---- You’ve been coming in late for the past few days ----
Cuddy pulled the file from his hand and looked at him.
Cuddy: I’ve been busy lately, Rachel’s <stammered> gone sick and ----
Foreman raised his left eyebrow unconvinced with her answer and as she read on the file.
Cuddy: You’ve done the A.N.A. test?
Foreman: It was negative.
Cuddy: Wilson’s disease?
Foreman: Negative. Tested it twice.
Cuddy closed the file and hand him over the file.
Cuddy: Do a lumbar puncture. If it comes back positive, then it’s MS.
Foreman got the file and they looked at each other again.
Foreman: Something’s up?
Cuddy: Yes ---
She began carrying folders.
Cuddy: Board meeting… So if you’ll excuse me, I’m late…
Cuddy began walking out of the door, still leaving Foreman suspicious.
House was then seated on a garden bench near the tree where he stays. He was heavily rubbing his leg as Daniel watch over him.
Daniel: Are you serious you’re okay?
House: <made a quick glance at him> Do I look one?
Daniel: Oh, because you said ---
Daniel didn’t bother to end his words and it was followed by silence.
Daniel: The “party” thing’s getting into you, doesn’t it?
House didn’t answer instead he looked forward.
Daniel: I don’t think I need answer…
House: I don’t want to know…
Daniel: You know it, you just don’t want to admit that you do because you know, you’ll get hurt.
House: I won’t.
Daniel: Okay, just because you said you won’t that doesn’t mean you can’t.
House looked at him and Daniel gave him a cunning nod.

They chuckled and as it slowed down, silence owned them again. House breathed heavily and stood up.
Daniel: I saw Lisa this morning, she’s been with you all day?
Daniel saw House drawing a smile on his lips and he smiled to himself.
Daniel: I just mention her name and suddenly your mood changed? Cool.
House dropped his smile and looked at Daniel before smiling again. Pitt opened the back door and had himself shown but not all. It looked like he was peeking out.
Pitt: House! Therapy time!
House: I’ll be there!
Pitt nodded and went back to the building. Daniel stood and he walked back to the hospital with House.
Daniel: So you’re really okay with Lisa’s idea?
House: As long as she doesn’t sacrifice anything in return, I’ll be okay with it.
Later that night, Cuddy was still in a mess. She’s looked way exhausted than before while staring at her laptop screen at home. Folders and papers piled left and right on the table and one could tell how stressed she is. It’s late and she’s tired and she knows she has to be asleep to be up early for the next day, but she can’t, she have to finish some paperwork. She typed a few words and found it too unclear so she deletes all words again, a thing she did several times that night. She placed his finger on her forehead.
Cuddy: Oh god… Writer’s block again…
She grunted in annoyance. Suddenly, her phone rings and she immediately picked it up.
Cuddy: Lisa…
House: You’re still up?
Cuddy: House? --- How did you ----?
House: You might want to know, doctor, that the room you got for me has telephone privileges…

House: Right. I’m lying… Why are you still up?
Cuddy: Just reviewing some files. --- You? Why are you still up?
