The story begins with an alarm clock ringing. Cuddy, who just woke up, turned it off. By the time she stand up from the bed, she felt unusually tired but she walked straight to see Rachel who started crying because of hunger.
With the baby at arm, she went down to prepare some milk. As she was about to pour the second scoop in the bottle, she felt dizzy and started to call Rachel’s nanny for help to carry the baby for her but there was no one who answered her. Soon, she dropped herself unconscious and Rachel on the floor.

Meanwhile in PPTH, House entered the clinic. He noticed that Cuddy’s office is still close though it is already past ten in the morning. He asked Nurse Brenda where Cuddy is but she replied she doesn’t know since their boss didn’t leave any message about her whereabouts. He approached the office door and confirmed that it was really locked.
House entered the DDX room where Taub, Kutner, 13 and Foreman were in. He instantly approached the kitchen counter where he prepared his own coffee. Wilson entered the room with a folder at hand.
Wilson: Got a minute, House?
House looked at him and so did the three.
House: Not today, Wilson. I’m off…
Wilson: I’ve got a patient, she needs you…
House: If it’s cancer, I know you can do it.
Wilson: It’s Cuddy…
Silence surrounded the room and all eyes on House. He approached Wilson who hand him over the file, which he then read on.
House: So treat our boss or get fired.

House and the ducklings were all in Cuddy’s room. Wilson was standing beside Cuddy who’s sleeping with an IV fluid and vital machines connected to her. He (Wilson) left the room after receiving a page. House ordered to draw some blood from Cuddy but Taub said they already have some samples taken awhile ago just before she passed out. The ducklings then were ordered to go see House in his office when they’ve gotten the result and after which, the ducklings left and he sat beside Cuddy.
<Medical procedures being done by the ducklings>
House and Wilson were both seated inside House’s office. They’re chatting about the upcoming monster trucks event near their place and settled on the idea that they’re going to watch it. The ducklings entered the office with a result in the hand of Thirteen.
Taub: One standard procedure tested positive…
House: That’s good news right? Our boss’s sick. I’ve been waiting to hear that for several years so I can have my own leave.
Wilson rolled his eyes.
Foreman: Cuddy’s pregnant…
Wilson: What? Did you tested it twice?
Kutner: We even ran the test for three times. All told us the same thing.
House looked at them and shut up. Thirteen gave him the result but he didn’t look at it. He grabbed his cane…
House: Damn…
He went out of the office leaving Wilson, Foreman and the ducklings alone in his office.

Later, the old and the new ducklings were all in the doctor’s lounge.
Cameron: So you guys think its House’s baby?
Foreman: Why, you don’t think the way we do?
Cameron: I… But I haven’t seen them around…
Taub: House isn’t like you and Chase. Who knows what they’re doing beyond their career?
Chase: They’re doing the doing…
All of them giggled except Cameron.
Cameron: Okay, granted that they did it. How sure are you that the baby’s House’s?
Thirteen: Wait, you’re saying that Cuddy slept with other men after House?
Kutner: Cameron, if you’re in the room with us awhile ago you wouldn’t be asking questions.
Cameron: I’m not believing you that it’s House’s baby… At least give me a DNA result or something…
Chase stood up and laid 100 dollar on the table.
Chase: Fine. I bet, its House’s.
All of them, except Cameron, smiled and laid their bets.
Chase: All of these will be all yours if it isn’t House’s but if you’re wrong, you have to pay us twice.

On the deck of the second floor lobby, House is leaning on the deck rail, staring at Cuddy who’s walking out of the hospital with Nurse Brenda. Wilson stood next to him.
Wilson: You okay?
House: The parade of happy mothers will have a new member…
Wilson: Yah, it’s a good idea, right? Cuddy will be so happy once again… Her beauty will be once again be flooded with inner glow.
House: She’s happy but the father… might not be….
He walked a few steps away from his friend.
Wilson: House… <House turned to face Wilson> The baby’s yours, isn’t?
House walked away saying nothing. Wilson gave a sighed.

Later at night a knock caught Cuddy’s attention. When she opened it, it was House who’s standing on her doorway. She let him in and they stayed in the living room.
House: I’m sorry…
Cuddy: For what?
House: For this mess…
Cuddy: <smiled> You don’t have anything to be sorry about… I’m fine…
House: So far… If I haven’t slept with you ----
Cuddy: House, I love being pregnant. I’ve been dying to have my own kids. You know that and I’m not asking you to father the child if you don’t want to.
House: So the kid’s really mine?
Cuddy: I haven’t slept with anybody before and after the night we slept together…
Their conversation was stopped when Rachel started crying. Cuddy went to see the baby. As she was placing the baby in the crib, House entered the room. He stayed behind her and as she turned, their eyes met. He moved closer.
Cuddy: House…
House said nothing and captured her lips by his. Once again, they shared another passionate kiss. The next thing they knew, they were on bed <again>. Cuddy was the one lying on her back and House climbed on top while she drew the blankets to cover their bare bodies. No words were spoke only sweet stares. As he gently moved, they shared kisses that can’t wait for tomorrow and soft moans that only they can hear. Her fingers were moving from his brown hair to his broad shoulder and to his bare back. House on the other hand, began kissing Cuddy from her forehead, to her cheek, down to her neck and back to her lips while touching her bare skin within his range. When the deed was over, Cuddy slept next to House. His right arm held her and her head fell loosely on top of his still naked chest. He moved his fingers against her hair and moved his head gently to kiss her forehead before sleeping as well.
