your unrelenting arrogance,
just pushes me away.
But something drew me near,
in that meeting those many years ago,
I'm not really sure what it is,
but I still can't, and haven't let it go.
You're bitter and your a pain,
those I can't deny,
but you have this special quality,
where to you, I cannot lie.
I think I'm predictable,
but I know that this couldn't be true,
because no one knows my next move,

You can be an real ass,
that, everyone can certainly see,
but you can be kind,
if you really wanted to be.
Despite these imperfections,
for you, its hard not to care,

It kills me to always see you,
and know that all of its true,
and it hurts even more to know that,
there's nothing I can do.
I wish that I could love you,
but we know that could never work,
cause while I'd try caring about you,
you act up like a jerk.

afraid to have emotions,
and afraid that loving me,
would contradict your notions.
You're miserable and alone,
and you're broken at the creases,

Your blue eyes latch on mine,
with innocence at every inch,
and it makes me love you even more,

Yet, it hurts so much to love you,

I'm running out of the excuses,

and I'm running out of the reasons,
of why I shouldn't be with you.
I know I could get hurt,
and I know the mistakes we could make,
