^^ feel da same way!!! ive got 1 friend who likes horror movies but we dont talk about them much cuz everybody else joins the convo & there like, "how do u like that stuff" and then we always end up off-topic and trying to discuss that getting scared isn't particularly bad. So its nice to have ur fellow scarymovielovers around know what i meanover a year ago

I grew up on horror movies in the 70's and haven't stopped watching since. So it takes a lot to truly shock or amaze me. There has been a slump in quality original horror movies lately, with a few exceptions. The last movie I saw to impress me was The Cabin in the Woods. Paranormal actitvity 3 scared the crap out of me. Insidious was not too bad. The Devil Inside was creepy also. anyone know of any more original scares?

Paranormal Activity 3 dissappointed me a bit, it made me jump more towards the end, but over all it was a little bit of an underacheiver. Oh wait sorry! I went all critic like on you! What about Scream?over a year ago
Guess what I saw at my movie theater today!!!
A NEW HORROR MOVIE IS COMING OUT!!! =D
It's called Sinister

i love horror movies so much that now i can't stop watching em,i'm obssesd with horror;) and i dunno why i get pleasure by watching thm,but i LOVE all those movies where the murderer is right there infront of the frontdoor and calling thorugh the phone:p although my nickie means *spirit i'm proud to be a human:P

I agree the director should be put in an asylum. The first one is just stupid and gross. The second is worse, but I don't recommend either one of them bcuz those movies suck.over a year ago
I love how in scary movies the person yells out:"Hello! Is anyone there?".As if the killer is going to be like :"Yeah I'm in the kitchen you want a sandwitch?"
Posted over a year ago
then again I wouldn't think the person would know there is actually a killer, i would assume that they would assume it was just a person lawl kinda burst your bubble sorry XDover a year ago
In scary movies someone says "hello is anyone in here" like there expecting the murderer to say "yeah i was gonna kill you be out in a sec."

Ok so I saw Piranha 3DD AND dear lord who comes up with this crap?! I was so glad when it was over. If you thought the first one was a joke just wait until you see this one god. And rehashing gags from the one before (castration anyone?) not very original-see nightmare on elm street remake. If you want something to roll your eyes at and maybe occassionally-if your that sick and demented laugh well I guess this is for you but it lacks well whatever made the one 2 years ago bearable

So I watched Donnie Darko the other day and I freakin loved it!
It's sort of an old movie.
I think it was made in like 2000 or something like that.
Anyway, you really have to pay attention to understand the ending.
Or otherwise you'll probably have to watch it 3 times before you do.
The language in it is foul but awesome ;)
And the leading guy 'Donnie' is so different and creepy (in a good way).
He has this imaginary friend named Frank who is a bunny that came from the future.

The Innkeepers was sick. My god, what the fuck that spirit bride doing in the basement? Seriously, if I was in Claire's show, I would have died froma heart attack instantly. Even though I'm a brave woman. X3

Sorry, for the flagged links (Ghost Ship & Shutter: Thai Version..) and broken videos. :/ Apparently, the user(s) removed both movies from YouTube, which is the source of where I got the videos from. Dx
Sorry, everyone. I'll try to find more movies to replace them or, if I can find the movies, find a way to add more.... :)

Saw it I was blown away how great it was, def original (well sort of) and the ending...good luck trying to get a sequel thats all I'm saying. 8/10 well done Hollywood-well this timeover a year ago
But Bin Laden was behind a mass murder, just to be picky. I'd have to go with Ted Bundy, John Wayne Gacy, and of course Jeffrey Dahmer. Can you imagine the dinner conversation?over a year ago
Btw, I highly suggest seeing the horror film, "Burrowers"; link
It's really good, and you may be able to find it on OnDemand. It's a pretty good movie, and now currently one of my favorites. ^_^

Does anyone know if there were deleted scenes from Paranormal Activity 3? I ask because *Spoilers* a lot of the clips from the trailer weren't in the movie. Are they deleted scenes now or something? :/

Last horror movie I saw was 'The Devil Inside'. *SPOILERS*
My opinion; Scary at some parts, excellent portrayal of the demons ("Oh, yes, priest. I hear you; all you ever do is TALK!" lol), and a lame ass ending. -_-
Any suggestions for some great horror films? The year does not matter. As far as genre goes, no vampire movies, or slashers. Regarding the genres I mentioned I'm all watched out. I don't think I can watch another slasher film. They feel all the same to me. Although if you can prove me wrong, you can :). Something that will keep me on edge until the end, and something that isn't predicable. Something that will terrify me! Also something original. Name your favorites! :) I love this club!

I doubt my selections will meet all your criteria, but a few of the movies that have stuck with me are: Wolf Creek, Masters of Horror-Dario Argento's Jenifer, Jack Ketchum's The Girl Next Door, and Dead Silence. I'd love to know what you think.over a year ago
At this point I"ll take any suggestions :) Thanks jester616! I'm actually a fan Argento's I loved Suspiria , and also liked Giallo. I will also check out "Jack Ketchum's The Girl Next Door". Oh and to hotel614saw, good suggestions as well, but I've seen them too. Thanks anyway though :) !over a year ago
I love the spine thrilling feeling you get when your watching a horror film!

Check it! If you love this pg-13 stuff they make now-a-days, dig into some of the classics and not so classics of the past (70's-80's) that is where the real horror is at.

I love how,
in scary movies,
the person yells out,
"Hello?"
As if the bad guy
is gonna be like,
"Yeah, I'm in the kitchen!
Want a sandwich?"

the paranormal activity movies dont go in order. they go backwards!
ohh and if you saw PA3 the last 15 minutes will mess you up !

I honestly thought that Paranormal Activity 3 was awesome. It was my favorite out of the three. I know how the 1st one is the best for most of you, but there's something about the third that made it alot scarier.
That's just MY opinion, though.
