by far Jamie Lee Curtis was best in halloween she's the true Scream Queen of horror movies. Remakes can be good but nothing really compares to the originals. Last House on the Left is the only remake i'd rather watch over the original :)

the only reason I chose this one was for the attention to character development....i know that it is not standard for a slasher movie to let you get to know why the killer is such a soulless maniac....but even so, If the original movie (with the entire cast) had more of a back story it would be an UNQUESTIONABLE WIN!

No, doubt the remake will never outshine it's predecessor.
