I think my favorite zombie movie is either the Night of the Living Dead(1990) or Dawn of the Dead(2004). Land of the Dead was also pretty cool.I also love Shaun of the Dead and 28 Days Later. Zombie wasn't a bad movie either. The splinter through the eye = AWESOME.

It has to be Zombie. A zombie actually taking out a shark shows that no matter how big or bad something else is, it's still powerless against a zombie and it really gives you a sense of hopelessness. That's a real Zombie movie.

Yeah I agree about some people said about 28 days later. Nothing can stand better than this. Well they were some other movies I enjoyed watching like Shaun of the Dead that was pretty good movie. but the hollywood type of Zombie movies suck Really bad but 28 days later it was good from the beginning and end.

Night Of The Living Dead (1968), definitely not the remake that was done in the '80s. I think what makes the original NOTLD still so gripping is the fact that when it was made 40 years ago it was very bold and unexpectedly graphic in its gore, without any computer gimmicks. I still shudder at the scenes of the zombies eating the limbs of the young couple in the car.

Shaun of the Dead was frickin' hilarious! I also loved Night of the Living Dead, but Dawn of the Dead was only ok. However, Resident Evil on the other hand was absolutely awful. Also, I only saw 28 Weeks Later, but that was good :)

While all of these are good I must repeat what I have told others so many times before. 28 Days later is NOT a zombie movie. Watch it again and listen to what they actually say. The are NOT dead. Their brains are just not functioning on a nomal level. All agression. But I did like that movie. And if you include that movie then my favorite "zombie" movie should be included. It is hilarious. Undead from Australia is my favorite. It is kinda Si-Fi too though.

Shaun of the dead rocks, it is funny and a really clever twist on the genre at the same time. Resident evil 1 and 3 were both terrible, no.2 was ok. Also, check out Colin (really low budget but interesting story) and Peter Jackson's Braindead.(before he made Lord of the rings obviously!)

28 days later made me afraid of zombies because it was the first film to make zombies actually run!!! Not good, before you were able to just walk away from them... now you have to RUN... it's not cool! not cool at all. I always wake up from having zombie dreams after watching one of these films.

I went with the remake namely because in my book in was one of the few movies that actually turned out better than the original and I find it the most entertaining out of all the other choices on a serious level. Though I will give honorable mentions to Shaun of the Dead as being the funniest and the original Night of the Living Dead for being the creepiest.

Are you kidding?!!! The original George Romero, "Night of the Living Dead"...this movie started it ALL for me and MJ with "Thriller"!!!XD I LOVE zombie movies and it is thanks to Romero. He is genius. But I did enjoy "28 Days Later", that was cool too...but I'm still NOT sure if they are really "zombies". I guess that's debatable.
