I was just curious to get other people’s opinion on this topic. He may have never directly killed anyone, but he was the one responsible (occasionally) for putting them in their respective traps/tests/games. At least the traps/tests/games he designed and orchestrated had the chance for survival (as opposed to some of the other situations designed by the accomplices).
What do you all think?
P.S. I’m not sure if I should classify this as a spoiler question or not.
i mean like you said though he never killed any of them directly, he was the one to set up and start all those very difficult and deadly "games".
Like most murderers/serial killers he did have a motive:
he wanted them to appreciate their lives, and he also targeted a specific group: people who were on drugs or committed other crimes.
Though he really wanted to help them, he did it in a twisted way
he puts them through torture whether physically or mentally.
He is glad when they survive, but he is also satisfied if they dont since to he's standards "they didnt appreciate life" and thats why they didnt survive.
its also a little bit like the Charles Manson thing,
though Manson didnt kill them directly he had his "family" to do it for him, yet he is still considered to be a famous serial killer.
Jigsaw had his assistants and his devices to help him.
And I have tried to watch them. ;P
Oh except Hostel sucks. The Saw series is doing it better!
Drugging, assault, premeditated torture and death threats.
All four of his obvious crimes are 100% linked to him being blatantly, albeit indirectly, responsible for many deaths that he, and only he, was responsible for constructing the cause of.
