I recently heard about a show called Harpers Island on CBS. The premiere episode aired on April 9th at 10p.m. I didn’t think much of it. A couple of weeks ago I saw some images from the show on the link, but didn’t know what it was about or if I wanted to take the time to find out. I happened to see a promo for the show a couple days before it aired and decided to give it a try. Alas I forgot and didn’t get to see it the night it aired. Out of curiosity I went to the link Website and looked the show up. I ended up watching the show and loving it. If you are anything like me you have never...

The new Pinhead, the only god actor in the film.
The new Pinhead, the only god actor in the film.
Clive Barker responded to the film on Twitter saying, "I want to put on record that the flic out there using the word Hellraiser IS NO FUCKIN' CHILD OF MINE! have NOTHING to do with the fuckin' thing. If they claim its from the mind of Clive Barker, it's a lie. It's not even from my butt-hole."

This is not a remake of the first one, it's the ninth one. And boy, it's a doozy.

The film stars Stephan Smith Collins as Pinhead, and Fred Tatasciore as the voice of Pinhead. It also has a female version of Chatterer. The only good actor is Collins and Tatasciore.

Words can not describe how craptastic this movie is. Just watch the trailer.

Chapter 1:

"...I am standing in front of Haddonfield Correctional Hospital were local resident Laurie Strode is being kept under strict surveillance. It has been recently discovered that Strode is actually Angel Myers, sister to notorious killer Micahel Myers. For the past year, Strode has been at this hospital after the events of last Halloween when Myers took Strode hostage after brutally killing her best friend and daughter of Chief of Police, Annie..."

The television screen turned black as it was turned off, leaving the large living room in darkness.

1. What's your all-time favorite horror movie and why?

My favorite horror movie of all time would probably be Saw because, it doesn't have a lot of sex in it, and it's just a fun and entertaining movie to watch

2. What was the first horror movie you ever saw, and how did it affect you?

The first Horror Movie I believe I ever saw was Child's Play I was about 7 or 8 and after I watch it I put ALL my baby dolls in the closet and put a chair over the door

3. Who are your favorite horror actors & actresses?

Katie Cassidy is my favorite Horror Actress, but I also like, Mary Elizabeth Winstead...I...

Slasher Survey conducted by Eye Candy Lenses
As an avid fan of horror films, Halloween is definitely one of the highlights of my entire year. However, I can’t hide my disappointment at the fact that – despite Hollywood’s efforts – there has never been a modern slasher remake, sequel, or prequel that has ever matched up to the original film… and it seems I’m not the only one!

A survey carried out by Eye Candy Lenses revealed that the majority of avid horror films fans would be delighted to see some of the most iconic original slasher films brought back to life. However, whilst it came as no surprise that horror fans have been...

This is important to horror fans and collectors alike because as Child's Play series fans we are extremely limited in choice as far as accurate replicas go and are forced to pay ridiculous amounts of money for one replica usually of foreign origin because every single worth while piece created for this film is of limited release and considered extremely rare. It's not right for fans of the series to have to pay 2,000 average for a replica and one from 5 years ago at that. We want a "to scale" accurate replica of Chucky from the original Child's Play films in his unstitched form.

A Nightmare on Elm Street

Nightmare 2
New Line Cinema is already making a sequel to the very successful Nightmare remake, which will have Jackie Earle (Rorschach) Haley reprising his role as Freddy Krueger. It's rumored that it will be in 3D.

Nightmare 3
Jackie Earle Haley signed up to do three Nightmares. This means that after the second one, Jackie will return as Freddy for a third installment.

IT
That's right, in 2011 there's going to be a remake of Stephen King's "IT". The new "IT" will be more scary and gory. Who knows, Pennywise might actually be scary this time.

Child's Play
Brad Dourif will...

Lost Heart (1973) based on a tale by the marvellous ghost story teller MR James, is one of the Ghost Stories adapted by the BBC for the Yuletide series, adapted by Robert Chapman. Filmed on location in Lincolnshire during November, the autumnal scenery and gothic Manor House provide a beautifully effective setting for such a spooky ambient tale.
The story tells of Stephen Elliott, (Simon Gipps) a young orphan boy sent to stay with his much older cousin, Mr Abney (Joseph O'Conor) who's portrayal is reminiscent of Dr Caligari in his jerking movements and animated expressions. The eccentric Mr...

Hi everyone,

I came up with this little test for myself and everyone else. Who can pair the names of horror movie slashers with the letters of the alphabet?
This is all I can do, sadly...

Scream (1996)
Thanks jlhfan624 for the great questions =]!

1. So everyone seems really excited about your Scream Queen idea, who is YOUR #1 Scream Queen? Who would you pick to accompany your Queen (aka a King)?

Well when the title 'Scream Queen' is said I automatically think of Neve Cambell in
Scream
. Neve was amazing in the film and I thought she did a great job; her scream was pretty good too lol. As for 'Scream King' I would probably have to go with Jack Nicholson in The Shinning or Freddie Prince Jr. in IKWYDLS. Not many male actors stand out to me in horror films, but Nicholson and Prince really impressed...

This Monday I was left all alone in my apartment when my family went to London, and Spain to have fun. So I decided to start a Japanese horror movie week!

Monday: Ringu a.k.a The ring.
This was a very good story with good execution, the scares were mild and it had few to no jumpscares. I like it better that way though, it really got under your skin in a different way!

Score: 8/10

Tuesday: Ju-on: The grudge.
Less story, more scares! This is the type of movie that makes you scared of your environment! I don't want to turn around, open closets, or go to bed right now!
I would have liked a bit more...

At Dean's funeral, Kris sees a photograph of her and Dean as children, but cannot recall ever knowing Dean before high school. Kris begins to dream about the burned man herself and refuses to go to sleep for fear that she will die...

Hello, my name is Heather and I'm a horrorholic. Specifically a slasher stan. I've been watching horror movies since I was a single digit year old and slashers are my favorite sub-genre of not only horror but any movies period. There's something very formulaic and familiar about them and they bring me inner peace. So with that said, I will be reviewing this movie from a slasher standpoint - if that makes sense to anyone at all.

For those who don't know Hell Fest is a 2018 American slasher film directed by Gregory Plotkin. The film stars Amy Forsyth, Bex Taylor-Klaus, Reign Edwards and Tony Todd,...

Jack Attack
Jack Attack
These are the top ten scariest horror characters that I've seen so far, from least to greatest.

#10: Chucky, The killer doll from Child's play. He's more annoying then scary.

#9: Pinhead. I loved the Hellraiser movies, but Pinhead wasn't that scary.

#8: Jaws, the killer Great White shark.

#7: Ghostface. He was creepy, but not scary.

#6: Leatherface.

#5: The Shocker.

#4: Blade from The Puppet Master. He is more cool than scary, but I thought I should add him.

#3: The Thing.

#2: Michael Myers.

#1: Jack Attack, the killer jack-in-the box from Demonic Toys. I hate clowns!
