Some of my movies will be known and some will be a little less known or not even considered as a horror movie, but in my opnion a horror movie doesn't always need blood and guts to be considered, phsycolical terror is more scary then anything in my opnion, cause that's when the threat can only be seen by you and it only happens to you, no one else.
1.)Silence of the Lambs
2.)Misery
3.)The Haunted Airman(UK Movie/psycholical thriller)
4.)Hand that Rocks the Cradle
5.)Orphan(Don't want children...Ever!)
6.)Gaslight(1944 movie/husband slowly drives his wife insane)
7.)The Bad Seed(Little girl kills to get what she wants...creepy.)
8.)Terror Train(How do you excape a killer on a train? That's terrifying, even if it is set in a cheesey 80's slasher)
9.)Don't Say a Word(Considered an action film, but everything about it is scary cause it could happen and it's all psycholical)
10.)Secret Window(Split personalities is a very real thing and is scary as Hell.)
Movies that didn't make the cut, but are awesomely good are:
1.)Hannible Rising(Say what you want, Gaspard scared the Hell out of me in this movie.)
2.)The Omen(New and old)
3.)Child's Play(The first one, the other's sucked)
4.)Nightmare on Elm street movies(some of the sequals were pretty good. Wes Craven's New Nightmare scared the shit out of me.)
5.)The Hitcher(both old and new.)
6.)Sweeney Todd(Don't care if it was a musical, it still scared me)
7.)Hide and Seek(Again, the split personality thing, always a good scare.)
8.)Hills have eyes(New Version, the old version was too cheesey.)
9.)Night of the Living Dead(Maybe old, but try watching it alone in the dark out in the middle of nowhere and see how well you do?)
10.)The Scream movies(When you first see the movies, they are scary. After wards, they're just fun to watch.)
The second list isn't in order, it's random...
